Knox does not stand in a corner. He comes off multiple screen. Plus when he gets it he never drives he just tosses it up.

It's not like they don't run some screens, but they have him stand there a LOT. Then again, someone who can actually shoot, sometimes, will need to do that to spread the floor, so it's not all on Fiz being unimaginative.

Fiz is still unimaginative though. :D

I'll be patient with Knox but most games he looks lost out there. It seems as if he doesn't know exactly what to do when he gets the ball. He has a great floater once he gets into the paint but I feel like most of the time it's a hail Mary attempt because he is so out of control.

How many wide open 3's Raptors in general, and Gasol in specific, making tonight?

I'm going with 15 and 3.

Note: Raptors will make 23 3's and Gasol will make 5, but those others will be "lightly contested".

Knox has had some intensity issues all year, no doubt. And since he's not quick, his lack of understanding NBA angles etc for defense make him look bad all year as well - expected from 95%+ of all NBA rookies.

But for sure, last 5 games, he's sluggish. I'm going to say rookie wall. I recall Frank and KP struggling right before the AS break. Now Knox is.

He's 19. A work in progress. Pretty solid pick no matter what.

He really needs to get stronger and work on his left hand. As he’s able to finish through contact, his confidence will grow. Normal stuff for a rookie to struggle with

Yeah. The fact that he can get all the way to the rim and score pretty nicely - at times, but has that floater for scoring "in between" the short and mid ranger jumper zone and the layup zone, I think will make him always an effective scorer. It's just how much of one. I'd say he'll be a good one. Next season or season after - most likely.

Knox is still at least 2-3 years away from even knowing what he might be, he’s younger than a lot of the players on ncaa draft boards this year he’s the same age as cam reddish, for example. I think he has good support and good people around him and they will work hard in the offseason, hopefully we see some signs of progression next year in his areas of improvement

I see him as a Tobias Harris level talent eventually, and I’m good with that.

Just give it your best shot guys. I’ll take the little in game wins. Make it competitive. Garden should have a ton of hoopla.
