This is what you have to portray to keep the worst team in the league motivated and confident, especially when it's also the youngest team in the league. I've always approached it as, play the players that are gonna be here next year and let the chips fall where they may. I was pissed when we felt too skewed toward expirings with no future on the team. Now that we're going all out youth movement, I'm happy. The end results of the games have always been secondary to me since the direction of our youth and the framework Fizdale creates for them along with everyone we acquire going forward is more crucial than any single player. If we beat the Cavs off of DSJ, Knox and Mitch making big contributions, I'll be okay with that. It's if we beat the Cavs because Mudiay, Hezonja and Jordan sent those guys to the bench early that'll have me mad (just to clarify though I'm not worried about this being the case).
Development >>> everything for me
Plus the good news is win or lose, our odds at landing Zion will remain unchanged.
