That first free throw at 430 did not look clean at all. His free throw ugly AF. The second one is kind of a bad angle.

Looks pretty clean to me. At the end of the day idgaf how it looks as long as it goes in.

It’s just a short clip. It’s a little concerning but there’s no need to excessively panic. We’ll get to see where he’s at in the weeks to come.

So officially, all the DSJr "poor passing" claims this offseason were pure nonsense.
Those last 70 seconds, Randle in a nut shell.

Awful 2 for 1 3PT attempt when we are up 2
Doesn’t close out on Sabonis --> open 3
Takes another side step off balance 3

We got sucked into the Randle vortex where all good feelings go to die.

Well, those claims were always a little overblown, but in what way is it "official" if no games have been played?

They were way overblown. And yes, the use of the word "official" is also hyperbolic, but it is correctly used here now that the dust has settled. His assists per game had him ranked 26th in the league. But In order to prove the point that Dennis was a scorer who cared nothing about distributing (among other things), cats pounded that "can't pass" silliness all offseason. Everyone knows why it was done and it was overblown. I don't think he's a great passer, but he's adequate...but that was all the reason to get rid of him by a select few here.

I super disagree with the both of you. His free throw form is not clean. A free throw should all be one motion and smooth. Any hitch or hesitation is not good. Smith has a hesitation in his shot which im sure messes up his flow/rythem when shooting free throws.

Go look at the vid where DSJ dropped 50 at the crawsover. There’s no “hitch”. He’ll be fine. I trust Keith Smart.

26th in the league among all players. He'd actually be 21st among guards which is slightly worse than Bradley Beal, slightly better than Steph Curry. Make of it what you will. His scoring is top notch, his passing is not nealy as bad as advertised which is what I'm getting at considering the tomfoolery this offseason. He's an good piece at either guard spot. Not saying crow, saying thank God it's not in the realm of Gildrus-Alexander, Pat Beverly, Marcus Smart, Sexton, McCollum ... all players we'd gladly accept at the guard spot in NY.
