Trade both of them for Scherzer, and give them, Lasagna, Estrada and Schmidt.

Scherzer's contract is why I have a hard time believing the Yankees go after him. He also has like $100 million in deferred money until 2028.

Yeah I just saw that F that just sign Keuchel now will save money and time and keep the prospects you want at least for now.

MRP Ottavino
MRP Kahnle
SU Betances
SU Hand (L)
CL Chapman (L)

Not likely happening - even at .500 right now they're only 2 GB of a WC spot. They'll rebound a bit and be right in the mix.

As you know, it would take a miracle for them to catch up to the Twins. It's more of a question if they'll be able to hang with and overtake 5 of the 6 teams in front of them (Rays, Rangers, Red Sox, White Sox, As, and the Angels). It's only June, but I think it's something to watch as the deadline approaches.

I expected Keuchel to be signed up by now. What's the hold up?

Oh, Boras is his agent...

Definitely something to watch, for sure.

I honestly wouldn't be even a little surprised if the Central was tight 2 months from now though.

I'm actually very interested and have been looking forward to it. Gunnar Henderson or Kameron Misner for the Yanks.

I sat down and watched it last year and the Yankees picked a catcher/pitcher, and I haven't heard a peep about him this year.

MLB prospects are so hit or miss, more so than basketball.

Could take years before we actually hear about them being legit.

The catcher they picked is currently ranked as their 6th best prospect That's still pretty impressive even though the Yankees farm system is now considered middle of the pack

Bleh. There were more talented options. May be the safe pick.

A lot of these dudes are better off shaving their facial hair.

I don't think I could stand someone like Mookie with his trash beard on the team.

So given that Keuchels beard is among the biggest and most characteristic beards in the majors have to wonder how much of the Samson factor cutting the beard will make in his pitching game.

Pretty sure Yanks were the favorites for Ohtani and Corbin at one point so I'll wait until Keuchel signs or doesn't sign.

Yep, been there, done that with the "Yankees are the favorites" spiel before.
