Back of my mind I'm thinking Gleyber or Didi get traded as well in this package for an ace. I'm getting that tingling feeling, the Yankees are in love with DJ they're not gonna waste him on the bench. Someone has to go.

A team full of DHs .. Trading Clint would be a mistake now , he's really coming along. Should of traded Andujar last year when his value was sky high, I was never a big believer in him. I don't even know what "ace pitcher" we can go after.

Clint's fielding is questionable as well. We're sort of in another Andujar situation with Clint this year as well.

Do we trade him when his value is high? Or do we keep him and hope his fielding comes along?

I think outfield is alot more easier to defend than 3rd base. I truly think Clint can field better, he's been an outfielder most of his minor league, just catch the ball. 3rd base or any infield position is a lot more tough IMO and we've seen many players suck throughout their careers in the infield and not get better defending. I would keep Clint especially with Gardy possibly not coming back next year and Stanton can opt out after next year if he has a big season. Hicks is also injury prone. I mean it's alot of question marks but I guess I'm just more of a fan of Clint than most ppl are.

I forgot. How much is Encarnacion owed this season? Could be another hurdle for Hal in going after a pitcher.
