Big Meech 2nd in the NBA in blocks and he only plays 19 mpg a game. That's pretty nuts.

Mitch blocks more shots in 1 game than the other team even takes all night.

Kristaps Porzingis has largely played at power forward during his career, but many believe his best position in the present and future is center. Porzingis revealed he is open to playing center now.

"It doesn't really matter to me," said Porzingis on his position. "I want to be in the best position defensively where I can be the most effective, and I want to be put in plays where I'm the hardest to guard on offense.

"Last season, I was averaging 2.4 blocks until I got injured playing the 4 position most of the time. A lot of times, there's stretch 4s and guys trying to drag me out, and still I was able to do that. It all depends on matchups. I don't think it's the right thing for me to be fighting the whole game against a 5 guy that's a post-up guy, but if it's a guy that's close to the rim that's not really a post-up guy, and I can help off and help my teammates... It all depends on the matchups."

The Mavericks have cap space and have been linked to a pursuit of a center.

So glad this diva is gone. He basically telling his coach when/where to play him :noway:

This dude talking about "stretch 4's and guys trying to drag me out" when he was the one who insisted on playing the 4 to avoid defending guys in the paint.

Yet funny how Mitch is smaller than him and not bulky at all yet has no issues with being asked to fight in the paint AND chase guards out to the 3pt line and throw their shot back in their face with regularity.

The diva show continues...Good riddance!

He wants his cake and to eat it too. Like "Well, I can get blocks inside, but not if the guy is too strong or a real C, but, I don't want to chase stretch 4's either". WTF?

Dude even starts off by being quoted as saying "It doesn't really matter to me," then proceeds to list all the intricate details and conditions of why it matters who he is defending and at what position.

WTF?

I think there’s something good about how KP did do a lot of talking, whilst Mitch is a man of on-the-court actions, and few words.

i'm really looking forward to kristaps going forward, he's going to be very good but one thing he's poor at is assists. he has potential but i'm sure you've noticed the nba has become once again a big man's league, if you want to be a good team you need a big.

but not just any big, a big that can pass the ball.

there's 8 centers with 3 apg or more
there's 13 centers with 2 apg or more
there's 4 power forwards with 4 apg or more
there's 9 power forwards with 3 apg or more

look at deandre jordan, he's averaging a career high 2.2 apg(2.9 with the knicks) and entering this season he was 0.7.

passing from bigs has become even more important in todays nba, everyone needs a big that can pass the ball and this is kristaps biggest weakness(career 1.3)
