That's a long thumb
I hope he gets plenty of minutes down the stretch. Mudiay, take a seat, please.

but but his defense is overrated. more respected by his peers then some of the idiots on here I wonder what holds more weight
I, for one have been critical of Frank and stated his defense has seen some slippage. Therefore, I take offense to your use of the word "idiot".
Secondly, clearly Mitchell is going out of his way to be kind during a time when Frank is in a period of down-turn. He is having an awful season, currently still out longer than initially anticipated, and has lost a clearly defined role several times during his tenure here. With management effectively seeking options to replace him at his position multiple times over the past two years (Mudiay, Smith Jr., etc.)
Mitchell is one of his closest friends in the NBA, being from the same draft class. He even sat with Frank at the table on Draft Night. So of course he will speak highly and complimentary of his boy while he is in the midst of turmoil. Frank is a nice kid. People are going to be positive about him and his career outlook, especially if they like him personally.
Let's not forget Ramon Sessions once proclaimed he reminded him of Kyrie Irving offensively.

This isn't exactly Embiid co-signing Mitchell Robinson ON THE SPOT and IN THE MOMENT while having no connection to him.
What exactly is he supposed to say when prodded by reporters? "Yeah, Frank is my dude but he does kinda suck. I should have definitely been drafted before him. The Garden could have been my stage for 41 games a year if it weren't for Phil and some long ass arms".
i’ll choose to take mitchell for his word. thanks though.
Wait, so should we also have taken KD's word as well regarding Jimmer Fridette?
Or can we just assume top that top tier guys aren't going to say bad things about nice youngsters? Your world. How you percieve it is up to you.

You don't have to interpret anything. Durant already told you Fridette is the best scorer in the world. You can live in that world.

I’d use better examples then Kevin Durant on Twitter. he tends to act up on there.
but that’s just me.

i probably lean that way now as well. It's like they see him as phil's last remaining piece of the team and they don't care to give him the same shot as any of the other guys have had who have struggled just as much.
oh well it is what it is and frank isn't going to make or break this roster. I just feel like it would be short sited to give up on the kid this early especially with what he potentially can bring to a team that struggles to guard on the perimeter.

somebody keeps writing that we need to trade someone, or let trier go, if we pick higher than 5th to have enough cap space for kd/kyrie. i don't know for sure that's correct but frank would be the likely guy then.

I just want to see Frank play 12 minutes at backup PF.
Lowered expectations.

Anddddd.....I just saw the post that came in same time as mine.
Knicks offense so complex, Frank needs a week to sort it out apparently.
How f*cking complicated is it to stand in a corner anyway?
Someone get Fiz a French/English dictionary.
Stand in corner = "debout dans le coin"
That seems sufficient.

im not sure if thats true because I'm not sure he is counting the cap holds that come off the board when the pick and 2 FA's that come.
But if Kyrie does come why wouldn't you just get rid of DSJ? He is not going to be happy with that backup role and he can't play with kyrie even though people argument is you know kyrie will miss games. Frank is better fit in terms of a backup guard and someone who compliment kyrie/KD better. Need someone to defend the beal/harden/curry's of the world so those guys can do what they do best and score and not worry about putting in that effort on the defensive end.

Kyrie signs, Knicks trade Trier, Frank, DSJr, Dotson, 2019 #1 pick + Mav's picks for AD, Mudiay comes back as SG.
And you'll like it.

Why does Fiz need Frank to practice first?
We don't have a game plan on either end that he needs to get reacquainted with.
