No doubt they wanted Nolan to do more movies, but I don't think he wanted to.

Not to say comicbook movies are dumb, but Nolan is too talented to keep making them. 3 was enough, he did good moving on.

I love Nolan and liked his films, but I always preferred comic DC universe over Nolans real life universe. He did 3 movies, it was good, something different, but I want to see something that resembles comic book world. Too bad DCEU SUCKED hard, its terrible.

P.S. I did no reading, but enlighten me, is this some sort of reboot by DC again? Are they abandoning DCEU or this just parallel thing going on? Or is it a prequel? I am so confused. Please tell me they abandoning DCEU, apart from gem Gal Gadot, that whole thing was an insult to me. If they rebooting it, I am so happy, but also sad to see Gal go.

TO be honest, when I heard this news, I thought it was a joke, I just know this actor as a meme from Twilight movies. But to be fair, I am not very familiar with his recent work. II just looked up how he looks nowadays, he looks way better than I remember, I can see young Bruce Wayne in him. But can he do american accent?

Cavil could actually be maintained but they need to figure out how to keep continuity while changing old smug IronBat into a more traditional batman.

They could do some multiverse stuff, and they could take some good fan theories (Joker from suicide squad is Robin).

They could "kill" Batfleck and make a final IronBat/torch passing movie where "this kid keeps following me"

I don't think DC is smart enough to do that, but it would be better for fans to continue the main story and attach new story tellers rather than begin a whole new DCEU.

On the flip side, if they just take all the small screen stars and go big with them in the movies.... Im in. Adding 33 y/o Batman to Grant Gustons Flash and Amells Arrow would be cool

I thought he said he was done too. I know he hated the portrayal of superman

I think we all hated the portrayal of Superman. Might be a selling point.
Numbers don't lie, people who use them do
What do you think about @kporzee? Karl-Anthony Towns: PorzinGOD does not care or need my opinion for he is a higher life form then all of us.

People had the same reaction to Heath Ledger.
They're both known for their romcom roles but clearly developed into great actors.

He's character in The rover was a bit of a Simple Jack. What a fantastic movie that is.
