What would you trade to get Zion?

Idk what my limit would be. I’m way too high on him

Brandon Clarke is someone I’m interested in. I love the transferability of his skills to the NBA. We can’t take him at 3, but if we’re not sold on RJ, trading back and adding another asset while snatching him up, might be an intriguing option.

Which is why I’m not opposed to trading down if we have an indication no max guys are coming.

8, 10, Hawks 2020 1st top 5 protected for 3.

8 - Reddish
10 - Clarke

DSJ
Reddish
Knox
Clarke
Mitch

Solid core of young guys there and 6 firsts over the next three years + cap. Great shape going forward.

"draft barrett" as an option is pretty presumptuous. it would not shock me if memphis took him and ja fell to us.

Can't have too many point guards that all have some type of hitch or ugly shooting form.

I'm skeptical that Memphis would give the Cavs the #2 pick and reach down for the 5th and 26th pick (WTF??) plus some garbage player on the Cavs' roster when they can just take Ja Morant. It doesn't seem like a win from any angle for Memphis. Maybe the Lakers can make an argument with the #4, a future pick and actual good young players. But the Cavs are just the Cavs.

If we get an indication that no one is coming, then I would not have a problem putting a package together for the number 2 pick. Ja and RJ would give us a really good back court. Along with Mitch, they could be our version of a Curry, Thompson and Green without the exceptional shooting in a few years.

Rj or bust folks. There's no point in debating this.

If rj is not a jnick that means we acquired AD.

Its a win win either way.

I don't know why Memphis would have any need for a smokescreen either

In your opinion, what makes the Golden State trio so special and how would Morant, Barrett, and Mitch recreate that?

I suppose you can never discount the Memphis trading down scenario that puts a team targeting RJ ahead of us. Memphis has a ton of needs and not a lot of assets.
