the lineup 1-5 is well protected.
you have to pitch to alonso because davis is a .500 slg/.900 ops player.

the 2-0 pitch to him was way low and outside. That was a ball. It just looked weird because Ramos didn't frame it well and the ump had a huge zone all night.

It would be nice if we could somehow get Nimmo and Lowry back for part of the stretch run and possibly beyond. Do they even have a pulse?

I honestly think Guillorme is an improved all-around player. He's sick at turning the pivot at 2B and he hit very well in Syracuse (not Las Vegas). Anyhow, I hope this gives him some confidence to go out and do some more. He should get the start at 2B today.
