so nimmo is playing rehab games, it'd be huge if they can get him back. i won't expect anything from him but he's shown that even when struggling(his .200 ba) he can still get on base(.344 obp)
also lagares is trash and isn't even good defensively anymore, frazier should move back into his defensive replacement role.

I think Nimmo plays CF and Forto plays RF. I would consider platooning Nimmo with Lagares if Lagares continues to play the way he has recently. Even his defense has picked back up. You can't sit Juan now that he's playing well. Even with the platoon, Nimmo will get the majority of ABs. Gotta ride the hot hand.

nimmo isn't any better than conforto at cf, so it's a wash.
but conforto has been there for the most part and has a way stronger arm.

Are you watching tonight's game? We're not sitting Lagares. Neither Forto or Nimmo makes that catch. And he just tied up the game with an RBI double to the wall in RCF

That's asking for an injury.
How good is he at pitching, really?

I would keep Lagaras in the lineup, he's been wonderful and his defense has always been there.
Panik gives us an average 2 hitter, a guy that puts the ball in play and can work the count.
Nimmo can give us another lefty bat until he finds his groove back.

Diaz did well. Came back strong to hold that inning.
The reason why we lost was those crappy-looking uniforms we are being forced to wear. We look like a bunch of chupas.

1. The Braves are just better than us.
2. We suck again.
3. We need to take at least 2/3 from the Cubs this week.
That is all.

perhaps the most talented mets pitcher the past 3 years in the system, but never could stay healthy. this is his first full healthy season and mets are baby'ing him, he's only pitched 61.2 innings this season.
started in low a, and is now in double a ... he could be an option for the mets next year as a starter.

He reminds me a little of Sid Fernandez the way he sling shots from that low angle.
