I feel depleted watching these games.

I think we're looking at a rainout tonight. Maybe we play two tomorrow with Jake pitching the day game. We actually have the pitching matchup in each game but we can't hit the broad side of a barn with a banjo.

After looking at the boxscore, I thought we still had Vargas for a sec

At least they cut it to a more respectable 10-7.

Coming back is even more frustrating because it just shows how I don’t trust anyone on this tram to drive in a big run.

Yeah, we got The Tease. That's even worse. They couldn't just let me go on with my evening. They pulled me back in.

Exactly.

Mickey has to go. He's not a good manager.

Doesn't take away the cushion that the Cubs and Nats have.

You're right. Well, we had our chances against the Braves, Cubs, and Nats and we failed.

And they are red-hot right now. Can't catch them if you can't beat them.

Yea, the Cubs were the team that needed to be beat. Even if you sweep the Nats, they still got like a 7 game cushion. Mets fcked up.

You can't make this up. Up 6 at the bottom of the 9th and the Mets Met all over themselves. Embarrassing.

I'm done with the Mets this season. Don't care if they make the playoffs.

Brodie is a moron for giving up the farm. Callaway is a moron because he just doesn't know how to manage the bullpen and I was pissed that we're resting guys when we ARE IN FACT on a playoff run! The only hitter that should get consistent rest is Ramos because he is a catcher.

BTW, Brodie has done sh.it to get this team over .500.

Just remember that Todd Frazier and Jed Lowrie were practicing at 1st base because who could've seen Alonso doing what he does and Dominic Smith actually looking like a hitter out there.

Jeff McNeil was supposed to part of the Diaz/Cano trade and he wasn't pegged to play 2nd or LF but more of a utility guy that plays everywhere.

JD Davis was a nice signing but they didn't see him as much of a bench player.

Edwin Diaz pegged as the closer has been horrible

Familia was pegged as the setup man has been horrible

Marcus Stroman hasn't given us anything.

I'll give him Wilson Ramos, Justin Wilson, and Joe Panik.
