The only people performing are the farm guys. All the guys signed/traded for are doing NOTHING. Cano, Diaz, Familia, Lowre. AJ Ramos is fat.

Frazier has really picked it up with the bat the lately, has a good OBP, and has been one of the only infielders to play solid defense. And while Ramos has sucked behind the plate, he's having a nice year at the plate. Maybe we can trade them to teams in contention for some minor league pieces. Ramos could be traded to the AL as a DH/backup C.

The question is what to do with Cano and Familia? I believe Diaz will straighten himself out. At least he's on an affordable contract.

I have never been a fan of catchers who do poor defensively, so I really don't care what he bats. And even when he gets on base, the dude is so slow is ridiculous.

I agree wholeheartedly. But bNo felt otherwise because he decided that giving up Nimmo and Rosario was too much for JT Realmuto. Now Nimmo neck is nerve-damaged from the undercooked chicken he made for himself and, guess what? Rosario can't play SS! :D Who knew?

We are such a mess right now and our manager hasn't a freaking clue. :noway:

How about Rosario in CF (he appears to want no more of SS and would like to give CF a try)?

How about moving Syndergaard to closer?

Just spitballing here. Don't @ me. lol

GM is a fcking nut. I was content with Alderson because at least he was a baseball guy.

it's very bad, even worse knowing in 5 years both cano and diaz won't even be on the team while kelenic is age 25. :nonono:

at least brett baty, franciso alvarez, and ronny mauricio are top tier hitting prospects.

We have some nice young talent. Just seems like we don't have the right mix and our management is dysfunctional.

I'd consider making Noah our closer. Dude can't seem to stay healthy as a starter.

Worst trade of all time

One of the most disappointing teams of all time

Most dysfunctional organization of all time

Season over

holy ****!! guys this is big, of all the blunders brodie has done he literally nailed it with the draft. allan was a top 15 pick but teams didn't want to give him 4mm, but the mets got him for 2.5mm

the mets farm system is now good again, just like that!

Imagine we still have Kelnic smh. Probably top 5 farm. Looks like we made some good intl signings as well. Junior santos interest me. Sandy did a solid damn job with his top picks. Only struck out with cecchini. And Desmond Lindsay looks like a lost cause

I'm fine with trading the veterans. We need to build around our youth. And Dominic Smith looks like the real deal. We also need to get rid of Mickey. Showalter is excellent at developing young players. So is Terry Collins for that matter. Mickey Callaway, on the other hand, sucks.

1. agreed with mickey
2. disagree with showalter, they need a new age manager even if mickey was a failure.
3. terry collins was terrible

joe girardi would be perfect.

Fine. I'm not picky at this point. Unfortunately, we're stuck with Clueless for the remainder of the season.

What do you mean by "new age"? Incense and Alex DeGrassi music?

Wait till Girardi gets on Dominic Smith for his weight.

Girardi is too militant minded, it would end in a disaster for you. Especially for an organization that lets the inmates run the asylum.
