Talk about overrated. A.Trier is way overrated by Knicks fans.

He proved he can be an efficient bench scorer at 23 years old. Who the hell is overrating him here?

Guys will find any reason to hate on Knicks players for no reason. He's making 3.5 mill. CTFO

This either means they know they're not getting 2 maxes, are including Trier in a trade at some point, or have a trade for Frank or Dotson lined up.

Yup most likely one of these scenarios.

Or they can trade Trier, since his "Mentor" is cooked now and not coming to the Knicks.

I like Trier. Another guy who has his contingent of bashers. Now getting competent UDFA's isn't good enough for people.

Does this mean we are sneaking back in the AD trade?

Throwing Lance Thomas contract in a trade before the 30th would also be a factor. We’d save $1M (assuming we take back no salary). Maybe there’s a playoff team out there that takes Lance & our 2nd rd pick for their 2nd or something pointless.

If Kawhi says he’d come with AD you can offer Knox, both Dallas picks, RJ, one future 1st. How do Lakers beat that? Maybe only if Ingram is 100% healthy which it seems like can’t be guaranteed at all.

He's sorta both. He's very good at what his role is and certainly for his price tag.

He's probably being overrated by those who expect him to become much more than that.

We can still ask Durant to take a 130K discount.

We could have given up Durant and plan to go with others 2 MAx FA

We could have opted for Durant (38M) and DLO (28).

Trier’s QO was $4.2M vs. the option we took for $3.5M. Saved 700k.
