I support this signing. Solid deal. Lakers are the other team I follow and I know Randle played great defense his last year in LA i don't care about analytics. I don't know what happened last year in NO but I believe he can become a good two way player again.

Dude's good, but he's not good enough to make us a good team, so locking in to him for 3 years at a pretty high amount is just, meh

He has talent, but we're not in a position to pay guys like him. Could break out and do great for us, but it's just kinda head scratching

Agreed. And only for 3 years so his deal is very tradeable. AND it doesn't have the trademark Steve Mills trade kicker as a cherry on top.

I like Randle. As long as he holds his own defensively, Mitch can provide help D and we should be fine.

When randle contract is up my guess is kd will have played roughly 50 games for the nets.

Not a big fan of his but the contract isn’t terrible for a young player. Knicks are now in a marketing war though so they can’t really tank anymore . They have to hope some of these guys take big leaps.

He is really good at switching on guards. Mitch and Julius ability to switch is going to give teams problems. Frank can switch too and barrett has the size and length as well. We might be better than people think next year.

It would be better if it is a 3 year team option or it is a regressive salaru but I doubt it. Must be 20, 21 and 22.

I really don't mind Randle with Robinson defending the rim behind him. I wouldn't have gone full three years guaranteed just because free agency is brutal next year, but the terms of the contract will be interesting to see when they come out. Randle can score in bunches, rebound with the best of them and has some play making capabilities. At times he does tunnel vision and hopefully Fizdale can get through to him on this.
