Bottom line is he actually should, as he's one of the few players on the roster who was above-league average in scoring efficiency last season with a .584 TS% (in 27.3 minutes per game).
Not to mention the fact that he stretches the floor, which is gonna help DSJ and RJ run the offense and develop their game. In fact, I think it's imperative that Ellington gets significant playing time.
Ellington had a very nice year last season.
I was at the Philadelphia high school championship game against Bishop Neuman at the Palestra where Ellington hit the game winner at the buzzer to win it. Drove all the way down the court and nailed the short jumper.
