I thought the premise would get wringed dry quickly and I would get tired of it by the end, but it sustained my interest even though it had its fair share of banal cops and robbers tv script filler BS that I don't care about
What I found interesting was the character of Homelander is truly excellent in a diabolical way. The actor in that role is quite brilliant.
And the end of the final episode was a good plot twist. I figured out what was going to happen during the middle of that critical penultimate scene, but it was clever enough to make me nod in approval at the scriptwriting.
I'll watch season 2 when it comes out
The actor that plays Homelander is really good. I could see them trying to figure out the casting as "We need an actor who has the dry, semi psychopathic aloofness and vaguely disturbing elitist good looks that William Hurt brought to some early roles" and bingo! They found him.
