Stanton should not be let go. He's been having good ABs all postseason. Just a shame he couldn't stay healthy. Stanton Hicks Judge is a fine outfield if you have a reliable 4-5 outfielders to back up because of injuries. I would replace Didi with a more OBP conscious player in the middle infield unless you can keep Didi on the cheap.

This is BS though. We thrashed the Twins. Missing a helathy Hicks is massive because he's a good table setter when right. Gardy has always been streaky and was never supposed to be a mainstay in the lineup this year. Edwin was literally free and anything we got from him was a bonus. You replace Gardy and Didi with more OBP conscious and consistent batters then this lineup functions way better. Those 2 are too feast or famine for what we need from them.

Big kudos to Paxton not giving in, getting out of some jams settling down, not letting his control get out of hand he sure battled tonight with the season on the line. Now the pen has to lock this down Kahnle, Britton and Chapman no one else.
