Feels good that they lost, because f*ck the Astros.

But feels bad because the Yankees sucked it up again in the playoffs.

Very surprised with the Nationals, they played the right way. Everybody thought it was the Astros all the way including me but this proves, great starting pitching trumps all ! Corbin, Strasburg, Sherzer are ace guys on any giving night and Annibal Sanchez revived his career there. We need to hire their pitching coach.

Now let's go get 2 Ace like starters, I don't care how just do it !!!

Has there ever been a WS where both teams only won the away games ? very odd WS.

That kid Juan Soto wow just wow ! It's no way he's only 21 lol he's definitely 25 at least, they lied on his birth certificate lol

Oh and let's go after Lindor too.

Cashman wants to hoard his prospects. Hal should open up the checkbook and let him f*cking spend for pitching.

Easy to say that tonight but wasn't to much said about the Yanks missing out on Corbin while he was giving up 15ER in 20.1 innings in his first seven postseason outings. Congrats to the Nets...glad they won it all.

Hopefully this makes Gerrit Cole want to leave.

Strasburg was better then Cole this postseason. Should be MVP IMO.

All it took to get Corbin was adding those two years.

Now the Nationals can celebrate his contract, even if he's trash the next 6 seasons, because he was part of their WS ring.

I don't care. Either are better than any pitcher we have on this roster.

Looking forward to who they hire as pitching coach.

Should be another interesting winter, folks.

It's not a matter of "can", "will" Hal open up the checkbook is the real question.

Yankees seem to be content to be the 70's/80's Orioles and 80's/90's Braves.

Even the Braves got to the World Series several times in the 90s.

They never won. Because they didn't take that quite next extra step, in their case on offense, to go over the top with historic level pitching.

Yanks never invest in quite enough pitching. Starting pitching, to be specific.

Braves won in 95. Then they ran into George's Yankees the rest of the decade.

That's why Smoltz is a bitter man.
