don't know if this has been posted, but upon doing a quick scan of the board I didn't see it, so here it is. a little trip down memory lane as we make our way through August.

I saw this a little ago and the guy did a great job. He basically summarized my twenty years of being a knick fan.

Well, it was nice to see that in detail. I’m 25, and I only started watching in 2010 when I was 15. So I don’t recall any of that nonsense, thankfully.

Lucky. I’m 26 and started following around 03-04. It’s been a lifetime of misery

Must be terrible. I often forget that...the Knicks have sucked since my daughter was 4 years old. An entire generation of fans have only had the 54 win season as any sort of pleasure from this team. That must suck balls!!! I haven't witnessed a title but...I've been to 2 finals and a decade plus of being a pretty dominant team. I can't imagine only living through the Dolan years.

Damn I remember every single bit of this. I recall feeling a little bit more desperate every time we made a move during this endless nightmare, with short moments of hope (basically everytime we fired a GM/coach and the Marbury signing at the time)...
This makes me appreciate the youth we have today, let's hope we don't mess it up this time.

I don't have the stomach to watch videos that dwell on the sordid past, but the comments here reminds me that many fans still have never tasted any glory at all.

Hang in there young guns!

We're doing this the right way finally and this kind of legit rebuild is what you've been waiting for even if you didn't know it before.

I look forwards to the true appreciation this will generate in younger fans who grew up worshipping players first instead of teams first.

This is not really anyone's fault. You can't always appreciate something you've never experienced, but now we may get a chance to unite around an actual team.

And then our fan base can sit in a  and :guitar:  :rocking:

Lol, wanted a place to post this.
Guess the nets getting Kd and Kylie is worse to Stephen A. than any of that.

Pretty funny. The knicks weren’t even fully interested in KD. FA was a a bit of a rollercoaster ride. Before the team options became news, it was a tough pill.

To be successful in the present and future you must learn from the past. To appreciate good fortunes you must also understand the toughest of situations. That's why videos like this are important - not just for anyone who has been through it but for younger generations who haven't.

Hopefully we can look back on these moments one day and consider them a dark time in history that's been overshadowed by tremendous success. Only time will tell.
