The *lower* his total PPG probably the better the sign. If other guys are contributing in a balanced attack that lowers his shots per game, the much better off the club will be ... and what a great sign that would be about Julius’s willingness to defer and be part of a good, winning thing.
I don't understand, Randle is the by far the most efficient scorer on the knicks other than mitch who is just dunks mostly. He should be getting 18-20 shots a game.
Randle is ideal as a near 20 PPG scorer who has someone who emerges next to him as a close 2. Not saying that’ll happen but it would be a SIGN, I mean to say, if he comes in closer to 17 PPG, that someone or two guys on the roster emerged as very capable scorers as well.
A sign of a pretty good team already and an unselfish Randle who valued being on a good team more than hitting 45 here or there.
