Watched some Lakers practice and you can't take away much from it but one thing I did notice, LeBron got that look in his eyes. This mofo is still hungry and if he influences AD the way I expect him to, Lakers are going to be scary.

Davis gonna be my very early MVP prediction

Is it me or does Harden look more on the heavy side?

No chance both make it the full season healthy. LBJ is going to press regardless of the addition of AD....AD is known to get nicked up and LBJ is as old as me and he finally showed last season he's no longer immortal.

The only two guys on that Shanghai team worth anything were both cut by the Rockets. Not really fair.

You can't predict injuries and nearly the entire league has those same issues and concerns.

Its a lot like how rivers used SGA.
Guess teams like running 3 guard lineups with SGA.

KP looking good....gonna be fun watching another draft pick of ours have a solid career.

I hope the Nets give Melo a chance, and they have a good run. It would be great for the city, and for basketball in the city. Summers are gonna be popping again.

I remember the sound of basketballs being dribbled everywhere once....kids in orange and blue gear, chilling on the block, talking NBA.....this team is so bad it's killed the soul of basketball in this city. Mecca of basketball was a label that was bestowed upon the city of New York, but this **** ass team hijacked it and made people believe it was about them, the Knicks...foh.

I know why it's not up on here, the "Around the NBA thread"......the hate is real.

Shake 'em up, shake 'em up, shake 'em up, shake 'em
Roll 'em in a circle of **** and watch me break 'em
With the seven, seven-eleven, seven-eleven...

This "rebuild" would have been a lot nicer with him catching some Barrett ally-oops, though, no?

Lets keep telling ourselves KP was an ****, a rapist, a diva, a piece of ****....fact of the matter is, this organization can no longer blame the pressure of playing in NYC as the reason players flee or don't want to come here....this organization and the people that run it are the ones that are the reason for their mediocrity.

Players didn't want to not come to NYC, they didn't want to come or play on the KNICKS.

So KP went into the office asking to get some answers, and these clowns jumped at the chance to trade him and then sold it to us as him demanding things because they realllly believed and made us believe things were gonna pop this summer.....really **** mature, the way they run things here.

Reminds me of somebody....he may even have something to do with the way things are run in this organization....

Are we gonna play the white knight role and cast stones on a squad that's actually doing good things?? So they play a little grab ass....like people here didn't call women bitches and such and end up paying millions in court.

Free agents don’t want to join a team that’s tanking (and doing it efficiently for once by having the worst record in the league). It’s as simple as that. The mistake made by the front office was to believe they could pull off both: the tank and the two max free agents. Those two strategies were mutually exclusive.

The Nets made the playoffs so KD and Kyrie went there. It’s not about James Dolan and it’s definitely not about Steve Mills and Scott Perry. It’s not about the Knicks. That’s just the easy answer. They looked at the Knicks record and saw the worst record in the league. They looked at our roster and saw too many unproven young players. So they joined a team they deemed safer, and I can’t blame them for that, although I always said KD never wanted that smoke so he wasn’t gonna come here anyway.

KP is a more complicated question. There’s a lot of noise about what actually happened behind the scenes (Hahn referred to two other stories which never came out). Not to mention that his new contract is a potential albatross. Put it this way, he will need to perform better than he has thus far in his career and show that he can be durable to deserve that contract. He could break out as an All-NBA guy in Dallas, or he could be an overpaid, inefficient and injury-prone player on an albatross contract and with off-the-court drama. We need to see how DSJ develops and where that unprotected Dallas pick lands before we judge the trade. Hopefully time proves us right.
