Another nationally televised game for us which is never good. I'd like to see Fizdale give Frank a start at PG while DSJ continues to shakes the rust off, though I don't think Fizdale will do that. Expect DSJ to start again with Frank off the bench. No Payton again. Just my thoughts.

Starting Krazy Eyez Killa turned out to be not as bad as we thought it would. I'd give Portis another shot based on his last performance. Let Mitch learn off the bench against the opposing team's second unit. Hopefully, he'll learn to spread his wings a bit more that way.

And PLEASE, can we see Dotson and Trier at the SG? I've seen enough of RJ at the 2. He can play the 3 with Knox at the 4. We don't need to see Randle and Morris anymore, do we?

i still haven't watched the atlanta game.


but after reading the article about VC embarrassing the knicks, it's pretty clear, in all of his baskets, why the knicks are so bad on defense (for those of you who also played organized basketball/know defense 101, you can see it also).


it pretty much comes down to two things:

- aggression, and personal responsibility. yes, VC is a legend, but all of them should be able to mentally tell themselves that they're better than VC at this point, and there's no excuse for him to be pouring in shots this easily.
- absolutely NO cohesion on defense against the pNr. watch how, there's no hedge and recover; there's an automatic lazy switch instead of fighting through the pick; there's no communication as to who is going after the shooter (randle is the absolute worse, and morris should've slapped randle on the back of the head); knox still doesn't know, either.

- portis, randle, knox, need to have their ass on the bench until they figure it the **** out. knicks desperately need a defensive coach, and to hold **** effort accountable.

i guess watching all that Wizards game film didn't AUTOMATICALLY make the knicks players better...


...hopefully those of who you never played organized basketball now realize that watching film doesn't automatically make you better, especially on defense.

Defense stays the same and ball movement from the first game and I’ll be fine.

Maybe no Frank would expose how he is needed even more.

You missing the point. Frank gang is ruthless out here. They don’t care if you playing good or not. You saw what happened last game. They was discrediting RJ’s steals and saying “that was all Frank”

I like NAW's game. He is going to be a good one.

DSJ is still the key to unlocking a miserable season, as opposed to a dreadfully horrendous unwatchable season. Really hope his back injury doesn't drag on all year.

The last preseason game is usually very half assed. Guys play not to get hurt unless they are fighting for jobs and rotation spots. I doubt this game will finalize a set lineup for Fizdale.

I like Frank but his hardcore fans make it hard to root for him. They put him above the team. Therefore I’m going at Frank until they learn to behave
