Re: New York Yankees Thread
Toronto looks like the real deal this season.
I thought it would've took them another season to get there but they're ahead of schedule. All they need is another good pitcher and they might be a problem.
I feel like Boston is overachieving right now, as per the first couple of months of the season there's always a team that overachieves before they start to come back down to Earth.
Yankees right now are in a rut, hopefully as the warm weather comes in their bats start to wake up.

The Toronto starting rotation is actually pretty underrated. Robbie Ray and Steven Matz are good enough middle of the rotation guys to avoid the summer fade Jay's teams tend to experience.

A disaster. The Rays are the bullies and the Yankees are the dude that drops the soap.

Not even gonna get mad, they'll probably still win 95 odd games vs the bad teams and **** the bed come the playoffs

Issue is I see this type of play as a reflection of ownership and FO’s sense of urgency.

Knicks win 6 in a row
Yankees lose 5 in a row

This is the first time in years - maybe ever - that the Knicks flag has been left on my house so deep into the baseball season.
Thank goodness for this year's Knicks!

Thank god for the Knicks indeed!
I’ll start over reacting to the team once it hits mid-may. Offense has been disgusting.

I kinda hope this bad stretch goes way into May so we can see sh*t really hit the fan.
Maybe that’s the cynical fan in me. But I felt like we badly needed to clean house and it’s long overdue and it starts at the top.

I figured there would be no way to ever get rid of the Steinbrenners. I was thinking more of Cashman.
