They better not fck up the court like they did with the Nets one. I can't even look at the highlights from that arena. It's like someone tried to colourize the players on a black and white footage.

hopefully it doesn't have much to do with the jerseys or the court. the knicks' goal should be to look like the lakers of the east. if i were this guy, i'd focus on rebranding a lot of the MSG media content. dolan's affinity for post-long island white man blues music kind is kind of reflected in the general aesthetic/tenor of the brand. there is no reason in hell the brooklyn nets, who were invented just a few years ago, should be the ones celebrating biggie (who btw is from north brooklyn not down by barclays)

I hope this guys make the Knicks so ghetto that all the rich folks in Manhattan stop buying there overpriced tickets and Dolan goes out of business. Yea I said it I only hope for Knicks to destroy themselves so Dolan sells the team.

If that was the goal then hiring a brand and marketing guy (Stout) probably wasn't the best choice. But then again, considering Steve Mills started as a brand and marketing guy....

What this is is another smoke and mirrors move by Mills to try to make Dolan think that he's trying. It's the same nonsense hiring Blatt to be involved in everything but player development (Blatt's biggest strength). It's the same thing as hiring Phil Jackson to be a GM instead of a head coach. Smoke and mirrors, smoke and mirrors.

Can’t remember who but somebody (The Athletic?) had a piece last week about the Nets and how their fanbase is expanding while ours has no future.

I don’t doubt for a second that Steve Mills brought this to Dolan trying to save his own ass. But how ironic that Mills himself is as responsible as anyone for the Knicks’ complete and total failure to appeal to fans under 30 y/o.

Unless you were born into a Knick fan family, this team has given nobody born after 1990 any reason to be a fan. That’s kinda sorta a major problem, even for a flagship fan juggernaut like the Knicks.

Yep absolutely. And only a self professed basketball idiot like Dolan wouldn't be able to see this. Mills has been Dolan's confidant and behind the scenes mover for 20 years and what has happened to make the Knicks more appealing in that period of time? Half a season of Linsanity and the promise of a Unicorn that turned into a billy goat?

He is a good at what he does. If a player wants to come here and build their brand he is the guy to do it.

If I’m Steve stroud the first thing I do is teach Dolan how to properly sit in a chair. Honestly, his sickening appearance is not helping this team move forward.

For real. It’s not a joke. His loser appearance, depressed body language, and different “date” 1/3 his age sitting adjacent the damn bench isn’t exactly an ideal work environment.
