Raptors just a bad matchup for the Lakers. They are about to sweep the season series.

yup

defense still wins in this league.

I wouldn't say the raps are littered with "high" end talent. But they play so well together and they defend at a high level.

I’ve been a big Lowry hater over the years but he shut me up last year when he balled out in the post season and won a ring. He used to be a big time choker.

Remember when we almost traded for him though? We probably would’ve made the playoffs that year. Melo was still really good

They are a very disciplined team with experience

I remember a lot of us wanted Stackhouse from Toronto but it was really Nurse who we should’ve targeted instead.

Who were we rumored to give up for Lowry? Shump?

That Bargs trade really did us in. Could have used the pick for Kyle instead.

The solution in that Pacers series was to have played Cope more especially with Tyson playing poorly. It wasn't taking Melo out of the 4. I remember instead of playing Cope Woodson decided to start both Tyson and Kenyon Martin instead.

i'd be a sucker for anyone in there organization.

I'm actually hoping Leon Rose and the knicks are keeping Scott Perry around this year because Bobby Webster has one more year on his contract and thats my GM.

According to a source familiar with the talks, Dolan had second thoughts about trading for Lowry and was also — what else? — enraged that details of the proposed deal had been leaked to the media.
According to several reports, the Knicks were prepared to trade Raymond Felton and Metta World Peace plus Iman Shumpert or Tim Hardaway Jr. or a 2018 first-round pick. The Raptors preferred the first-round pick, but Dolan — who negotiated the Carmelo Anthony trade with Raptors GM Masai Ujiri when Ujiri was with the Denver Nuggets — got cold feet about trading a future asset. That could open the door for the Brooklyn Nets to acquire Lowry instead.
"Dolan didn’t want to get fleeced again by Masai," was how one Knicks source put it. "They had a deal ready."

Think it was Lowry and Shump with a 2018 pick. Dolan stepped in and stopped the trade cause he didn’t want to give up a pick. In hindsight we should’ve done it cause we took Knox with that pick lol

And yeah Copeland def should’ve played more. He was solid. Tyson was garbage against Hibbert

Pacers were also able to hide David West on defense. Kidd and JR Smith were azz during that series.

Cope had a nice game 5 as he finally got some burn

Woodson always stuck to his main guys way too long and gave them too much leash.

Welp

Embiid should be a better leader than this.

This is where the Sixers miss Jimmy.

We won’t give Miller a shot. Do you really think Dolan would have the acumen and guts to roll with a G-League coach? Miller won COTY too.
