RJ Barrett
New York Knicks (Canada)
Guard | Grade: F

Game stats
27 points | 6 rebounds | 5 assists | 3 steals

Analysis
Barrett led all scorers with 27 points on 11-of-17 shooting and delivered a handful of highlights, including a steal that resulted in a pick-six finish on the other end. He even finished with his right hand, something of a work in progress for the southpaw. Yet Barrett earns an automatic failing grade for fouling Williamson to prevent his former Duke roommate from dunking. There's no place for that in an All-Star setting.

The game was unwatchable. I hate the all star break. Only thing worthwhile is the three point shootout.

Couldn't even stand the highlights, had to shut them off.

They just run five on zero out there with no defense. If nobody playing cares why would anybody watching care?

Not going to pay attention to the rest of it, won't even bother watching highlights.

Not going to pay attention to the rest of it, won't even both watching highlights.

Yeah, I have to agree. I watched the first half and decided to go to bed early during half time. One of the most boring games ever. RJ was called out for trying to play defense. At least, I'm glad that's in his genes and that's one reason why I think he will become really useful.

What I saw of Zion's game made him look a lot like how Mitch plays, only a little shorter and a lot stronger.

Hai guise! Letz stand rounds and watch guise miss dunkz. Dat be wheel kool!

But seriously, it was just bad. The sad part is, the regular allstar game isn't much different now. When guys get booed for trying to compete, you know something is terribly wrong.

Imagine Patrick Ewing or Larry Johnson on that court...

If Barrett can get the NBA to change the rules to allow no defense at all, he can be a star!
