Preferred Kenny but completely fine with Thibs. I have a feeling him and RJ are going to get along really well. They seem to have similar personalities and work ethics. Also if Thibs can't lite a fire under Knox's azz no one will.

I have no issue at all with just sticking with M.Miller for next year and give him some top assistants and monitor them all through the year. I have no idea what the plan is for L.Rose with this team next year but i am a little worried that his plan is to fix it with vets ASAP, which is why Thibs is supposedly their top choice, whether that's getting them through trade or free agency.

I don't agree with that plan and would rather see at least 2 more years of rebuilding this team through the draft, signing young players in free agency that fit a rebuild or if you do sign vets it's only on one year deals with the plan of using them as trade bait around the trade deadline like we did with Mook. If they do go with this plan then the top options for HC should be K.Atkinson, M.Miller, I.Udoka, J.Stackhouse or another young coach.

It's just such a Knicks move to end up being a fringe playoff team right when we're about to hit what looks like it will be a very strong 2021 draft. You stick with the rebuild for this next offseason/season and end up in the lottery again then there's a good chance we could finally get that star player who guys like Barrett and Mitch and whatever young players we bring in in this 2020 draft can be the #2's and #3's to.



Edit: Well scratch all that cause of course it's Thibs so say goodbye to rebuilding the right way.
