NY Knicks 2020 Draft Big Board #19 Pick - 24 Hours to VOTE

Post#1 » by mpharris36 » Tue Jul 14, 2020 3:05 am

The game is simple. There will always be a list of players you can vote on plus one write in option called "other" if you feel the BPA for the knicks isn't able to be voted on. Every day I will tally see who had the most votes and that player will be off the board. Then we will go down #2 and #3 pick ect.....Once someone comes off the list and they win I will add another player to the list (maybe based on write-in options)

You can comment below on why your voting for the above player you selected. Lets also try to keep this Knicks related since a general big board probably doesn't make sense. This game is if you are the knicks GM what would your big board consist of.

NY Knicks Consensus Big Board:

#1 - LaMelo Ball
#2 - Anthony Edwards
#3 - James Wiseman
#4 - Killian Hayes
#5 - Deni Avdija
#6 - Tyrese Haliburton
#7 - Onyeka Okongwu
#8 - Cole Anthony
#9 - Kira Lewis
#10 - Obi Toppin
#11 - Devin Vassell
#12 - Isaac Okoro
#13 - Aleksej Pokuševski
#14 - Aaron Nesmith
#15 - RJ Hampton
#16 - Saddiq Bey
#17 - Tyrese Maxey
#18 - Patrick Williams
B2B 2021-22 & 2022-23 BAF Champion Spurs:

ROSTER

Nic Claxton/Walker Kessler/Jeff Green
Nikola Jokic/Jonathan Kuminga/Dean Wade
Cam Johnson/Josh Hart/Kenrich Williams
Alex Caruso/Killian Hayes/Aaron Wiggins
Steph Curry/Delon Wright/DSJ

Going to be interesting when we get to #27. Prior to that possibly solicit (poll) who WE previously picked who people think WILL STILL be available at #27?

I know this is a draft thread, but this is the only thread I like.

Still adding teams to my SWOT series. Worked on the Hawks this weeks. If you're interested, check it out

this is pick 19, there are 7 players on the board, and then if you put them 19-25 (probably won' t be the case with some of them) there are still several players we haven't listed that could go in the 1st round such as jalen smith, leandro bolmaro, nico mannion, tre jones, vernon carey, isaiah stewart, tyler bey. So I think we will get a solid prospect at 27. And probably someone interesting at 37 as well.

Nice piece. However I don't think you get Jerami Grant for 29/3 even with a reduced cap & salaries and unknown future. He has a player option for 9.3m for 2020-2021 and the deal he signed in summer 2018 was for 27.5m - and that was before he started shooting 3s for real.

No one already selected. I think that we have a shot at #27 in Ramsay, Maledon, Tyler Terry, Jalen Smith, Jaden MacDaniels, Nico Mannion, Zeke Nnaji, Bane, Reed and Tillman.

But what the odds we will selected #27, anyway?

We could trade the pick for a vet or move up on the draft. Last year almost no team has kept their current pick past #19. This year teams are more desperate to save money and invest on win now players rather than try their luck with a late FRP prospect. I think there will be massive trading of picks.

If our guy slips to #18, #19, we can try to trade up to get him there. In late teens we could get a player like Tyrese, Hampton Saddiq, PatWill or Precious. Kira would be surreal.

I think

Jerami will make 13-17M/y
Dunn will make 4-7M/y

The thing is, only like 7 teams have cap space, and that’s before the spike

Denver will bring Jerami back with birds rights if the asked salary will not be excessive. To make him play in a small club team, Atlanta would have to offer 13-17M.
