NY Knicks 2020 Draft Big Board #31 Pick - 24 Hours to VOTE PICK TWO!!!

The game is simple. There will always be a list of players you can vote on plus one write in option called "other" if you feel the BPA for the knicks isn't able to be voted on. Every day I will tally see who had the most votes and that player will be off the board. Then we will go down #2 and #3 pick ect.....Once someone comes off the list and they win I will add another player to the list (maybe based on write-in options)

You can comment below on why your voting for the above player you selected. Lets also try to keep this Knicks related since a general big board probably doesn't make sense. This game is if you are the knicks GM what would your big board consist of.

NY Knicks Consensus Big Board:

#1 - LaMelo Ball
#2 - Anthony Edwards
#3 - James Wiseman
#4 - Killian Hayes
#5 - Deni Avdija
#6 - Tyrese Haliburton
#7 - Onyeka Okongwu
#8 - Cole Anthony
#9 - Kira Lewis
#10 - Obi Toppin
#11 - Devin Vassell
#12 - Isaac Okoro
#13 - Aleksej PokuĆĄevski
#14 - Aaron Nesmith
#15 - RJ Hampton
#16 - Saddiq Bey
#17 - Tyrese Maxey
#18 - Patrick Williams
#19 - Precious Achiuwa
#20 - Tyrell Terry
#21 - Jaden McDaniels
#22 - Leandro Bolmaro
#23 - Paul Reed
#24 - Jahmi'us Ramsey
#25 - Desmond Bane
#26 - Jalen Smith
#27 - Theo Maledon
#28 - Josh Green
#29 - Tre Jones
#30 - Nico Mannion

We are in the second round and voting as starting get under 20 so I decided for the second round to add a second choice per voter. So you can select your top two choices and the top choice will still win.

I can only choose 1 option. I chose Stanley and would choose Vernon Carey as the 2nd.

I will reset it, but you have to select both and then hit submit.

I do find it interesting the debate between Jaden McDaniels and Isiah Stewart. Clearly Stewart was way more productive, has more of a defined role in the NBA, and younger. They both came in highly recruited to Washington. But some think McDaniels should be picked maybe after far as the high lottery or late teens...when Stewart kind of projects as a late 1st early 2nd round pick by most.

Not saying I lean one way or the other...just find it interesting that they are on the same team too.

I like Tyler Bey a lot here. Really good athletiscm/wingspan, high motor. Great defensive player. The jumper could develop in that he can become a nice 3D versatile type F or even small ball C that can switch everywhere. He only took one 3 a game, but shot 42% and was 74% from the line.

He is 22, but sometimes the older prospects that slip are the ones that end up being pretty productive. 6'7" but has a 7'1" wingspan. I think Thibs would like him...kinda like how he loved Taj as a young player...a player that does all the dirty work and little things

mcdaniels is viewed as having a higher ceiling mostly because of the positions that they play, and because he can shoot a little bit and has a frame that is reminiscent of the mold of some other superstar players. stewart is a non-shooting PF so the value for that role isn't going to be quite as high. but I see them both as late 1sts

fair...stewart is a 5 in the NBA though so I don't think the non jumper will matter. He has a 7'4 wingspan so if you are looking for an energy big that can finish around the basket and protect the paint a bit he will be productive in his minutes I think.

I guess if you saying McDaniels is going to be a shot in the dark high ceiling player I guess I can buy that...but he has major bust potential.

well, you see where carey jr is being slotted and he's a 5 and also young and put up much better stats in the ACC. it's more to do with the fact that "non-shooting traditional big" isn't as valued of a position right now more than it is McDaniels being good

I only voted one accidentally (Butler) but if I knew there was the option to vote for two (reading helps  ) I would have voted for Stanley as well. Bey is also really intriguing I think

I think the difference between Carey and say Steward is defensive potential. I think Carey will struggle on that end especially in space (poor wingspan as well). Stewart has his concerns in space as well...but Carey carries a little more around the waist if you know what I mean

carey jr is probably a lottery pick if it was 10 years ago. but if we get him at 27 i'm not complaining. 38 and i'd be ecstatic

interestingly these 3 guys were #3, #6, and #7 on espn's top 100 prospects coming out of HS

here's a stewart-carey stat comparison

I'll just take Xavier Tillman if he sticks in the draft.

I'll just take Cassius Winston if he sticks in the draft.

I like Cassius Winston; he might be undersized but he can play. kinda reminds me of Kyle Lowry
