For the record, as long as we're allowing political threads (those days may be numbered, Knick season restart pending) a more well intentioned thread for conservative viewpoint discussion would be in bounds.

also for the record, they are by no means banned or discouraged like some would want folks to believe. i won't name names, but i spoke directly with known conservative posters and even suggested they make their own political thread to discuss their views. the mod team assured they would not be interfered with. they did it, and the thread was short-lived because there wasn't enough interest. there was no agenda against it.

meanwhile, stuff like this is a really bad look. so unnecessary.
