Both suck. But with the Giants there's a general feel that they are just in a down period and that the light will come eventually. With the Jets? LOL. The Jets are the Knicks of the NFL. Every move, even the one's that seem to make perfect sense (latest being Quinnen Williams...the absolutely positively can't miss generational lineman) ends up being the wrong choice.

I never understood the Williams hype. The guy was almost never doubled in college.

Yeah. I was dubious of the guy myself but bought into the hype train.

Don't get me wrong. He could be really nice, but he needs a space-eater next to him on the line.

I dunno the Jets have a history of drafting hyped
D-linemen and most not reaching their potential. At a certain point a lot of it is their development of players and scheme.

Could probably rename this the race for Trevor Lawrence. Giants have the inside track off strength of schedule but the Jets have a coach that can't figure out how Leveon Bell works properly but adores Frank Gore's ability to run directly into defenders and fall forward for a yard or two.

I actually don't particularly blame D. Jones for the collapse in the final two mins. All the creativity our offense had in the first three quarters evaporated. JG literally stopped calling advanced play designs halfway through the third quarter, and our Defense stopped making plays when Carter was taken out. The offensive line has been god awful.

Gettleman needs to go. Solely off the fact that he said he would fix the O-Line, passed on one of the best LT Prospects in the last decade (Becton) for a guy who might have to play RT going forward, after choosing a Running Back @ #2 over the best OL prospect in the past decade (Nelson), and he has arguably made the O-line worse. I really think the next GM should just take Sewell in the top 5 unless Lawerence is there (you don't pass on Lawerence even though you have a guy with potential). I think Sewell is even better than Becton and I loved Becton with a burning passion.

All things considered, I think Jones and Darnold can still be franchise QB's, but they are not getting help from their Front Offices, O-Line's (outside Becton and Zeitler, who will probably be let go since he will cost too much money to keep and his run blocking has been putrid, and some plays Hernandez (who also can't run block) have been terrible.

If we win a few games and end the bottom half of the top 10, I could see the case for Rousseau, Parsons, Pitts, or Chase. Parsons would be #1 (and has been sitting at #2 on my board for a while), Pitts has made an interesting case for the best pass catcher in the draft. Chase however just might have more upside due to his position.

Does anyone want Evan Engram?

The Jets I feel get lumped on so much more but he were sit and both the NY teams are putrid and have the same record lol. The Giants I feel have enough talent to have won at least 2 of these games.

The Giants are like the Scott Layden Knicks while the Jets are like the Isiah Thomas Knicks. Both sucked terribly but the former was able to suck quietly and lol it's fans to sleep while the later was loud and about drawing unnecessary attention to itself by doing stupid stupid things off the court while getting laughed at.

My fear is that the Jets will end up going on a winning streak to close out the season and end up with the 6th pick or some nonsense.

coming from a giants fan....they don't

Gettleman has been worse than Jerry Reese and that is tough to do.

no barkely no shepard. Engram is super overrated. Slatyon is the only weapon on offense for Jones and the offensive line is bad.

Then there defense has very little talent.

The giants might have a bit more talent then the Jets...but its not as much as you think. If you combined the rosters I think both teams would still be 0-5

Just sad watching these teams. If you combined them both they probably still couldn't win a game (see mpharris already mentioned that now )

Man I have a hard time seeing it. This roster is so bad. But I guess it is possible if they fire Gase, defense improves, they keep Le'Veon and use him correctly, and Mims has an impact.

Shepard has been average af anyways. No one is missing his production. Slayton gonna be a solid #2 for this team for a while.

Honestly Kaden Smith should be starting over Engram. Jones looked better playing with Smith last year.
