Sidenote- is bojangles any good?

Def but not the best fast food joint in NC. Cookout is the best. Bojangles def has the Best fast food biacuits by far

Yeah I lived in NC for a couple years, cook out was great, mine was open at all hours of the night which is dangerous. ended up in the drive thru at 3am too many times

Sarcasm or no?

Why is he a genius? Interested, if you weren't joking.

Lmao what a joke.

However, best thing to happen to RJ.

Dude is most definitely gonna use it as motivation.

Also RJ > Ja, don't @ me (or do @ me).

The rookie all team voting was all over the place. Some players got rewarded for contributing on winning teams despite their numbers, while players like Paschall on the worst team in the NBA where they had no other options and got to pad their stats freely were also rewarded. Not to mention Zion who only played like 20 games. There is no reason why RJ couldn't have made at least 2nd team.

But it's all good if RJ uses this as motivation.

That photo of RJ's shooting form is a bit worrisome; I never noticed before how he's obstructing his vision with his shot mechanic.

His numbers did improve a lot in the last month of the season. He's not a C&S type of player, he needs the ball in his hands. It's hard for him to get into any type of groove when you have Marcus Morris and Julius Randle isolating on every other play. It was a bad fit with those guys (well not Morris since he can spread the floor with his shooting.)

I'm sure there are plenty of good examples out there but I don't remember the last time I heard a young player changed his shot and the results next yr were good.

fact is RJ doesn't have a lot to lose by trying to change his shot because he's chugging along at 32% from 3 and 61% from the line and if he doesn't make a big adjustment his ceiling is extremely limited and it also limits the ability of the team to find other players we can bring in to play with him

This Woodson photo is hilarious

Dennis Smith? Look, I'm not in the hang Smith mob but still...that's just asking to be mocked. Should have had Rose and, if not Rose, a bunch of the top new front office guys in that 3rd pic instead of DSJr.

PS: Thibs looks like he's slimmed down though.

I think it's more to show the new associate head coach, Johnnie Bryant, working with DSJr and they are highlighting a player they are hopeful will benefit from their guidance.

RJ is going to be twice as good with a strong coaching staff behind him. RJ is one of the most adult teens to enter the league in a long time. And he is as strong as an ox and will keep getting stronger. He's going to bully the league even without a glorious FG%, but I'm confident his numbers will climb until his percentages are also above average. He's going to make steady progression until one day people realize he's a star player.
