He’s basically a young KG. It’s rare to find a young big man who can do everything Bam does.

In general, the new age of big men are the ones who can switch onto guards and protect the rim. Guys that fit that mold are AD, Bam, Ayton, JJJ, Mitch (although he has no offense and is limited as a rim runner) and potentially Wiseman. The only outlier is Jokic, since he’s historically good on offense.

had to take a shot. we'll see soon enough.

It’s facts though. All the guys I mentioned have offense and can do the same things on defense as Mitch. That’s what seperates him from the upper echelon of bigs. I hope he does end up being as good you think he’ll be next season. I am rooting for him.

i actually think it'll take 2 years but you'll start to see it next year. he aint just gonna catch lobs. you'll see enough to believe he can do more. most rookies take 4 years and he didn't even go to college. so he's a little behind.

I could absolutely see BKN doing this. Not sure why LAC would do it unless they just want depth and Kawhi.

that formula has worked for kawhi in the recent past

Butler sat on the bench too long to start the 2nd quarter. Miami is too 3 point happy.

Aside from Mitch, that’s basically the 3toheadmelo All-Star game

This Celtics team is the most bland championship contender since the early-2000s Spurs (before Manu at least). I swear, if it weren’t for Smart, I could fall asleep watching them play.

The 60-win Hawks were boring as hell too but they got smoked by Bron in the ECF.

I’m confident that RJ will be better than Ja so all this « if only we had been top 2 » talk means nothing to me. It’s the guy who was drafted 10 spots behind him that has me a little worried.

They have one point in common though. They cried on draft night. That tells me they care.
