Will D'antoni be able to help Kyrie be less selfish and more of a team player?

Kyrie will continue the tradition of great Nets point guards and I mean Stephon Marbury

I assume today players don't like to follow orders unless your boss is famous.

They seem to have no problems following orders when they have to show the world how politically correct they are.

I just wanna see mid range Harden back and Houston using big men. Hopefully this is the start of it.

God damn, the Thunder having access to the HOU's 1st rounders in 2021, 2024, 2025, and 2026 just got even better. That trade was just a complete robbery.

Already begun

Something else to keep an eye on: some agents who represent top point guard free agents believe the Knicks would poke around on a potential Russell Westbrook trade if Houston makes him available. It’s worth noting that Westbrook, per sources, saw New York as a welcome landing spot last summer when Oklahoma City was talking to teams about potential trades.

It's not really an issue to me but did my thread about Westbrook disappear? Are we not allowed to make topics for rumors anymore?

Just curious for future reference.

I merged it into the "Ideal PG for Thibs" thread, cause that was already a de facto Westbrook thread

Trading for Westbrook is 1000000% an Isiah Thomas move. Won’t happen.

Probably not.

There's always still the possibility that Dolan hired Rose/WWW to be "Super Isiah/Steve Mills" and "Get the STARZ!!!!"

And Mills/WWW took the gig to shake some nice $$$$ out of Dolan on their way to retirement.

OR

Rose really wants a shot at putting together a team and thinks that agents with contacts can accomplish that in the NBA now, and he wants to do a good job of it for his legacy etc, and WILL do a good job at it.

But we don't know until he starts making moves, and honestly, can't really truly form the opinion until several moves have been made - not just overreact pro or con to the very first move/non move.

Should be an interesting year. I'm hoping he's the latter, but could definitely be the former.

Kawhi wanted one of those coaches that let's the players coach the team like LeBron always has lately and The Dynamic Duo of Do*chebaggetry over in BK has.

Am going to miss JVG’s commentating if he lands that head coaching gig in Houston.

Would be nice to see him get to coach again in the NBA though.
