There's always still the possibility that Dolan hired Rose/WWW to be "Super Isiah/Steve Mills" and "Get the STARZ!!!!"

Rose really wants a shot at putting together a team and thinks that agents with contacts can accomplish that in the NBA now, and he wants to do a good job of it for his legacy etc, and WILL do a good job at it.

But we don't know until he starts making moves, and honestly, can't really truly form the opinion until several moves have been made - not just overreact pro or con to the very first move/non move.

Should be an interesting year. I'm hoping he's the latter, but could definitely be the former.

You disappoint me.

Multi-year contract for Lue, although the players aren't under those?

I guess the guy, like Dolan, is rich enough to eat $20m or whatever out of personal/corporate wealth, just to keep Kawhi happy right now for one year.

Meh. I guess that's a business decision, and the Clips winit-all % , if the players coach, might make it a good one.

found this interesting. the narrative is that the Knicks overpaid, but the Nets were also willing to go all-in for Melo, which did kinda force the Knicks hand
