is this the video you're talking about? Looks much more fluid here that even I'm warming up to Haliburton now

Same could be said from Ball, Wiseman, Edwards, Avdija, Hayes to Grant Riller, Tyrell Terry, Cole Anthony, RJ Hampton and about a dozen other players that can be taken in the 1st. It may sound great when he thought about it and when you first hear it. But after you gum over it a bit, that statement/question really loses a lot of its bite.knickstape4ever wrote:I was watching KnicksFanTV and one of their guests (from Babcockhoops.com) posed something interesting:
If Kira Lewis went to Kentucky, would he be getting more top 10 hype
I agree w/ this. thoughts?

Nor does he poke anything like Wiseman physically.3toheadmelo wrote:knickstape4ever wrote:DaGawd wrote:Kid needs to discover food
listed at 240....sure.....
looking at that kid, he may need to double his weight. looks really talented but I'm always hesitant w/ players above 7'2. the injury history for players that tall is pretty bad
This footage is meaningless. In this same game, Rudy Gobert was hitting step back 3’s

What does Kira Lewis do from a pure PG standpoint that makes him better than Terry though? Again, being faster and more athletic can't be it.RHODEY wrote:moocow007 wrote:Yeah I'd pick Terry over Lewis as well and Terry does have the potential to be one of the best players from this draft. Everything about him...even now with the size...I like. You don't need to be super athletic to he successful in the NBA. Guys like Steph, Harden, Trae Young, Donnie, etc are proof and athleticism is the only thing Lewis has over Terry. Skill, feel and IQ more important especially for a PG and especially if you want to win.HEZI wrote:

But isn't Lewis the much better defender?
and while I get that Terry played in a limiting system I still think its debatable whether he's a better passer.
I just don't know about Terry- How much is this hype is real versus subconscious Stephen curry projection?
The kid resembles Curry -facially and bodywise
Can shoot
Not really too athletic but really smart and crafty/good feel
His name even sounds like Curry -
But are we possibly projecting greatness onto him?? Are we ignoring his faults?
And yes, Terry has most of every skill you want an NBA point guard in todays game to have. His problem defensively was his lack of size and strength not because he doesn't know how to read the offense and execute defensively. If all it took to be a top tier offensive and defensive player was blazing quickness and top tier athleticism the Knicks wouldn't have been sucking the past 20 years and running.

Hes more skilled as a PG than Maxey and has a better feel for the game. Maxey is physically more impressive.3toheadmelo wrote:Deeeez Knicks wrote:

I’m here for the rebuild. Add another elite talent next year in the draft and we’ll look very attractive for star players.

I don't think he'll be able to translate that shot to the NBA consistently enough to be considered a legit 3 point threat. At which point, hes clearly not a PG and isn't someone that I would say is great at creating his own shot. So....F N 11 wrote:robillionaire wrote:F N 11 wrote:Knicks met with immanuel Quickley twice. Numbers suggest he’s a sniper. Kenny Payne knows him better than anybody. Going to watch some more tape. Things are getting juicy folks. This one holds weight.
Yes he can shoot the lights out and also led the SEC in FT% so you know it’s legit. Downside is he’s undersized for a SG and doesn’t do a lot of else. I hate to make the comparison because it’s played out but you might get a Seth curry type and shooters are valuable, would be nice at 38. Bane is another guy who might be a good pickup with the later picks
Is 38 the area they are saying he will be around?
If the Knicks are looking for a combo guard 6 man type off the bench Grant Riller is a better bet. Riller didn't shoot as well from 3 but there are a lot of folks that feel he projects to be able to hit NBA 3s. Riller is considered by some as the most talented and versatile offensive player in this draft and he's a maestro on the offensive end creating his own shot. He's projected as a 3 level offensive player nearing he can shoot from deep, shoot from midrange and create at the basket. Literally if you watch him play hes an absolute showcase on the offensive end.

Yeah im pretty sure they were just fooling around. I'd be more concerned about why he still looks so thin?Manhattan Project wrote:robillionaire wrote:Conspiracy theory the knicks made him (vassell) a promise and he’s doing his part to make sure nobody else drafts him because he wants to be in NY
I mean it was also reported that it came at the end of a workout where they were just messing around, so it really comes down to once again if you ever like Vassell or not.
