I think with his defensive upside, someone in that 25-30 range will take a swing...so I'd use our SRPs to trade into that range for him.

I think people are shifting their focus from them because we're most likely playing our way out of drafting them.

Yep. I’ve shifted my focus onto Daishen Nix. Probably the best passer in the whole draft. Big body 6’5. He’s on the G league team with Green and Kuminga.

if we don't get a top 5 pick (where it might be Suggs/Cade/Green/Kuminga/Mobley) I am trading out of the draft completely for a future first or package for a star. I am so incredibly tired from those 8-12th spots players who are busts/mediocre or/and sit on the bench for vets. enough of this ****..

Not in this class, gimme multiple picks in that 8-12 range this year & I'll be ecstatic

Maybe this year we'll pick someone who can shoot.

Scottie Lewis would be a great pick w/ 1 of our 2nds. he's improved his 3PT shot (43.8%) and even if the shot doesn't fall, he's a great, intense defender that Thibs would love (1.8 blocks/game as a guard!!!)

I'm anticipating we'll have pick 31 since the Pistons look like the worst team in the league + Hornets pick should be top 40

Knicks fans will always be impatient :dontknow:

Having a top 3 pick wouldn't change that; see Barrett, RJ. Doesn't mean that this team wouldn't benefit hugely from picking up a couple of kids in that range this year.

After this loss to Denver, I know who I want with what picks we will have:

Top 5 with our own , 18-20 with Dallas , Detroit 2nd, Charlotte 2nd .

We then trade Burks for a 2022 NBA 1st round pick (lottery protected most likely) at the deadline .

If we can’t get Cade or Suggs with our own pick, go after Jalen Green to be our SG of the future.

Use our Dallas pick and the Detroit 2nd rounder to move up to at least 15-16 to select Sharife Cooper , Pg from Auburn.

Select Drew Timmie from Zaga with the Charlotte 2nd rounder

Cooper/Quickly
Green/Rivers
RJ/Knox
Randle/Obi
Mitch/Timmie

I’d love to get him. Elite defender and can score on all 3 levels. Nice court vision too. His name is unfortunate though.

They’ll probably call him Dave Duke or DD. Depends on if he get heavy minutes.
