Only is the highlights films. They cut out all of the bad shots he missed. He's a poor man's Trier.

That's because the highlights are only showing the shots he makes. Look at the scouting videos for the weaknesses section. Also look at his shooting percentages. They're not so hot. He's not a good decision maker with the ball generally speaking.

He was taking it to Michigan State. Almost carried them to victory on a bad ankle

So, how can the Knicks have him on the 15 man roster?

Only path I see is he goes to Westchester but not with anything that ties him to the Knicks, other than he's on that team. Meaning contract wise.

Knicks have to make 5 cuts just to get to 15.

I think one of the announcers said "hang, cavity search and finish" but I could be mistaken

I can't talk cuz I used to hate the whole CAA conspiracy theories during the Knicks 2012 run. Team was winning games and NY beat writers can't survive without something to bash us on so that became the hidden evil agenda. Long after they were still talking about it.

And funny thing is they were right. CAA was always trying to get back in. What they might've been wrong about is the brief that it must be an evil thing. Plenty of winning players are ripped by CAA and if my memory serves me correct we did win alot that yr

I didn’t realize we have the last two Jerry West Award winners (RJ and Myles).

Obi won CPOY and Quickley won SEC POY as well. Let's have them come off the bench for vet scrubs on 1 year deals!!

He doesn't seem to take any good shots  I doubt he'll get the green light, let alone the roster spot.

That goes to show you how tough the league is. I couldn't make those shots.

I can't say I've really watched him. Heard of him and that he can score but didn't really scout him like that. But in any case the one thing that stood out to me from highlights is I've never seen him pass. I mean, even Quickley who I know isn't a creative passer if all you watched were his highlights there's some simple passes going on. Looks like a combo guard rather than a PG passing.

But damn does this Powell guy ever pass? A pure gunner. I mean if he could with that scoring I'd start him at PG right now but .....he looks selfish but again, I haven't watched enough to make accusations.

I'm not liking his Field Goal percentages (39.8%), and I'm not fooled by his bright moments which seem to come wildly inconsistently.

Just another Chasson Randle..................
