Trade DSJ to the Magic for Mo Bamba.

Fultz is out for the year so they need another pg. We need another big for the bench

Boom.

Macri got noooooooo sources

What did Macri say? can someone repost please. tried to find on twitter but unsuccessful

I do not want Buddy Hield, he's just awful outside of shooting.

Knicks Vs Bulls

Knicks trade:
Dennis Smith Jr
Elfrid Payton
Reggie Bullock
Omari Spellman
2022 top 10 protected pick (or use a bunch of our 2nds instead)

Bulls trade:
Otto Porter
Luke Kornet

If they don’t accept for Porter I may do the same trade minus the pick for Thaddeus Young instead. I would want at least a 2nd round pick back in this scenario. I would try for 2 seconds.

Bulls could use a pg or two. Bullock to replace Porter. Spellman and the pick as assets.

Knicks rotation
Robinson/Noel/Kornet
Randle/Obi/Knox
Porter/Knox/Frank
Barrett/Burks/Frank
Rivers/Quickley/Frank

Porter is overpaid but Has 1 year left. See if we can bring him back at a discount closer to 20 million per year. He’s not a go to guy, but a perfect fit for our team and an ideal #3 guy and is automatic from 3.
I think Thaddeus Young would be a solid fit also. Would just be weird to have 3 left handed forwards in the starting lineup.

Knicks Vs Magic

Knicks trade:
Elfrid Payton
Reggie bullock
Dennis Smith Jr
(Can add one of our second rounders if we need to.)

Orlando trades
Terrance Ross or Evan Fournier (prefer Ross, will settle for Fournier for the same package)

Why for Orlando? Fultz just tore his ACL and they need PG help anyways. This gives them 2 to work with and they can make DSJR their new project.

Robinson/Noel
Randle/Obi/Knox
Barrett/Knox/Frank
Ross/Burks/Frank
Rivers/Quickley/Frank

Or

Robinson/Noel/Obi
Randolph/Obi/Knox
Barrett/Knox/Frank
Fournier/Burks/Frank
Rivers/Quickley/Frank

Who do we waive to bring back Taj Gibson?

This makes no sense, I am happy with Bullock. If we make a trade it should be for an all star or for a backup big man, not a mediocre 2G

Bullock is our version of 2011 Keith Bogans. We need him.

lmao what? Good contracts and a big upgrade at a position of need? How dos that make no sense? Ross is a good defender as well and can create for himself while being a knockdown 3pt shooter. Quality>Quantity. You act like we couldnt trade Ross down the road at some point lol.

Bullock doesnt do much besides spread the floor. Hes not that good. We have a glut of players, im trying to condense into 1 better player. Ross and Fournier are both way better then any player listed in this deal by alot. Hes also averaging 21 ppg this season so far...

U want to trade for an all star with DSJR/Bullock/Payton? How do u plan on doing that? Please present me with a trade where u can get an allstar player while using the DNPs on our bench. Not happening.

They won't trade Ross for that package. He is playing great and signed for 2 more years at a reasonable salary. Fournier could be possible

Taj and Tyson? They are relics. At this rate,Obi won't be developed. He'll be trade bait.
Those last 70 seconds, Randle in a nut shell.

Awful 2 for 1 3PT attempt when we are up 2
Doesn’t close out on Sabonis --> open 3
Takes another side step off balance 3

We got sucked into the Randle vortex where all good feelings go to die.

I'd rather Tyson then Taj but either one works as a backup and they provide a good veteran presence, which we need. Not sure who the Knicks cut though.

Ngl Chris Paul would have us a top 10 team in the NBA. With how much PHX gave up. It would’ve been incredible

What I found interesting from that NYPost article.

Noel lost the starting job in preseason to Robinson and has missed the last two games. He came down with knee and ankle injuries and was a late scratch in Atlanta Sunday without being on the injury report. Then he missed the Utah game Wednesday.

There have been rumors of Noel being unhappy – which he responded to on Twitter as erroneous. However, he and super-agent Rich Paul mutually parted ways on Dec. 19.

Could also be another reason they are looking into another big man.

Yeah i dont think so either. But maybe a 2nd rounder or two may help persuade them a bit idk. Gotta let the season play out first a bit so people know where they are at. But with them losing their Starting PG, they may not have a whole lot of time to waste.

Fournier is the easier target I agree. Would you do my suggested trade for Fournier as a Knicks fan?

Did you see my other trade that i listed for Otto Porter? Thoughts on that one?

They can’t keep playing Randle and Mitch 40 minutes. They just can’t and Obi and Noel are injured.

So here is my overhyped, overly optimistic suggestion:

Go all in on Randle: trade Toppin, and the better of our two first rounders in 2021 and the better of our two first rounders in 2023 plus filler (DSJ) for Beal. They get a recent lottery pick plus two forthcoming 1st rounders and cap space. That is a better deal than what we got for KP.

See what it would cost to get Bagley as our backup PF. Try to see if Frank and our other 1st rounder gets it done.

Mitch/Noel/Taj
Randle/Bagley/FA pick up
RJ/Knox/Bullock/Burks/FA pick up
Beal/Rivers/Burks
Payton/IQ/Rivers/Frank (hopefully move to IQ starting soon)

That is 2 strong at every position except point, unless you believe that Frank will be a good backup point (I do) or that Rivers can be a good backup point (I do) or the Payton can be a good backup point (I do)

I have a better suggestion trade Randle instead aka sell high trading Obi would be selling low right now.
