I was wondering if the Knicks would had selected Hayes if he was available at 8 being that the Knicks need a pg instead of selecting Toppin.

Where did the Knicks have Hayes on their draft board?

What are your thoughts?

Off the two games we just watched.. Obi, that first game Payton and DSJ were going in on him.. and with our coach he would be getting the mins IQ got last night..

To answer the question without putting any personal preference into it, the knicks clearly wouldve drafted Obi since they tried to trade up to 5 to get him. Id imagine Obi was at least fourth on their board. Not sure how far off Killian was.

Obi, Killian is a TO machine and didn't impress me much at all.

Haliburton or Deni?

Haliburton and Deni were both there at 8.... Knicks went with Obi.. I was rooting for Haliburton

I knew we would draft Obi over Killian. I root for Detroit getting Killian because I still had hopes they would rather get Deni after he dropped. But they were really high on Obi.

Just me... but I hate polls like this! Obi is a Knick, not Hayes. We can't change it and personally I'm supporting Obi without worrying about what Hayes is or isn't doing.

Hayes, of course, even though he's a 2-3 year project. There isn't a single reason that drafting Toppin made sense. We're too stupid to draft well or do anything well, for that matter.

Deni or Haliburton were both better options, and Deni would have been a nice 4 to put next to Mitch. A guy who can shoot, and handle the ball and playmake a little bit--all of the things our FO hates. Plus he's three years younger than Toppin.

Where is the "neither" button?

After the last game when Hayes shot 2 of 11 I knew he was the pick that got away. A guard missing 82% of his shots just feels very Knicks-like, he would fit in perfectly with our guard rotation.

If we were looking to draft an actual good player instead of a Knick I would avoid Hayes.

Do people realize Hayes has been terrible? Or does it just feel like he is the better option because he's on the other team?

And I am not ready to give up on either of those guys after 2 games. Wasn't Obi some hero after game 1, and now he is the worst? You sons of bitches done lost your damn minds.

A lot of people during this pandemic are unemployed.

A lot of people thinks a lot of themselves just because they are living in a 150 Sq ft area per person in New York. But have access to computers and the internet.

Cole Anthony.. hate all you want but he looked good out there and would easily be our best point guard.
