Nice win. The way you were able to control the first quarter really did us in.

I was worried we’d get punched in the mouth during this back to back seeing how we’re riddled with injuries, but we did well. Beat PHX, and competed until the end against you.

Looks like there is a new owner of one of the worst contracts in the game..36 year old with a 5 year deal that doesn't produce in the SIM.. whose real life production has fallen of a cliff so SIM ratings will continue to decline in future years when it already wasn't great to begin with..

The Cavaliers have once again exposed the Magic as a middle of the playoff pack team that had a hot start and not a serious threat to the true contenders.

Mulling over the Whiteside offers. Have one that's close but got to get the salaries to work. The second best offer is not quite as enticing but the salaries work. The others aren't in the running at this point.

While I'm listening and very likely to deal Whiteside to a contender, I do still expect to be a competitive playoff team if either of the two discussed deals take place. This is not a tear down. This is a slight step back now for a potential two steps forward later.

I think you being too hard on yourself... being a top 2 team in a stacked eastern conference is very good. That’s contender status imo

Yeah, but to have a hope of getting out of the East, never mind to think about a championship, I have to at least be able to put up some type of fight against Cleveland. 0-3 with two of the 3 at home, doesn't look like those hopes are realistic.

Anyway, If either of the two deals discussed are made, I think I'll still be in the same pack of IND/CHI/PHI/CHO chasing CLE. I'll just be at the middle or tail end of that pack and not at the head where I am now record-wise. However having had the fortune of getting Indy without Doncic, and Philly without Collins one-time and Ball the next. I'm not convinced that I really am not already in reality at the middle to tail end of that pack.

The two leading offers do include a 4-star player coming back. So if he goes, he's not going cheaply.

Here is the thing though CLE is going to be really good for a while (at least for two years). And I think you are the only team with the front court that can kinda match them. Your starters basically played him to even. It was Randle bench unit over Gordon that decided the game. I wouldn't call that being miles away from CLE.

They are stacked but you have clearly been the 2nd best team in the east all year. You are clearly a contender and you never know what will happen in playoffs or with injuries.

I mean to each his own and you will make the best move for yourself but I always think people get way to ancy making moves. That's just my opinion.
