I would reserve to wait until about 20 games to see where this team is, and what this team is going to do. I still say trade FKN Payton, and wait until Obi is healthy and Burks comes back.

This game shows me that they need a dribble drive PG who can shoot. The more days Payton is in a Knicks uniform, the worse RJ gets.

Bad teams usually come out of the gate looking okay before the bottom falls out every season. Knicks have been doing that for years. They were even .500 with Fisher after 40 games before ending up in the lottery.

I know this fan base is starving for even something remotely good but people can’t jump the gun after 8-10 games in a season. Can’t get too hyped about a wack team. Because that’s what we are and always have been.
