So close to being able to discuss offseason trades, it's been a long road to travel this year for Utah. In a league in which shooting reigns supreme, my team flopped hardcore. With eyes on a top pick, some young prospects to go along with that and some trade bait in Dragic, I can't wait to start the firework show this offseason.

Sim Stories. I CANNOT beat the east. 35-14 vs the West (12-2 in the TOUGH Pacific) and 13-17 vs the East.

But I won't be playing the East in the playoffs :D :D :D :D

Congrats Hezi. You could’ve given up and tanked once your team had struggles, but you kept fighting and look at you now. I love our new guys, but it feels good to see the vet make it in.

Also congrats to all the other teams who made it, all the best to those trying to get in, and props to the new guys for remaining active. Love this group.

Lastly, it must be said...you gotta have nothing but respect for 2010 and those Raptors. They’ve played a hell of a 2nd half to the season and took total control of their fate. The Devonte acquisition was clutch. I don’t know about y’all, but I wanna see LeBron in these playoffs. I feel like he’s willed this team through hardships and is about to put on a show.

Out rebounded Chicago (who is resting everyone important) 69 to 41, including 15!!! offensive rebounds from Drummond and still only won by 7.

I'll take the win but yikes.

I am giving it a go tomorrow. Still have an outside shot (small chance) at the #6 seed and want to give it a fair go for the winner getting the #4 seed in the playoffs.

Will be without my best player for the game but the team wants to win out with good juju going into the playoffs. Hoping for a good one SOUL.

Good win again today and look forward to finishing the season strong vs SAC and HOU.

Thanks bro!

I felt good going into the season after a busy offseason and felt good about making noise in the conference but once Utah decided to tear it down I couldn't help but restructure some things and make some long term adjustments which came at a cost of setting me back for this year but I like where the team is at going forward. Definitely was tempted to tank and tried to a couple times because of the intrigue of some of the young guys in the upcoming draft but then couldn't help but take on the challenge of trying to crawl back out the hole I dug.

Good to be back in the dance even if an early out is likely the outcome

Congrats once again to Cleveland who has clinched the best record in the league and home court advantage throughout the playoffs.

All of the Western Conference first round playoff matchups are now set after tonight's games.

New Orleans vs. Denver
Portland vs. San Antonio
Dallas vs. LA Clippers
Sacramento vs. Golden State

Two days left in the season and there are three Eastern Conference teams fighting for the final two playoff spots.

Im guessing that you are in the 8th spot even though you are tied with Miami because you won the regular
season series 3-1. Therefore, Toronto should be a lock for the 7th seed because they hold the season series on both ATL (3-1)and MIami (2-1)...

You just have to win the Milwaukee game. Am I right Bish?

In the event two or more teams are tied in the standings, a series of tiebreakers are applied to determine which team receives the higher seeding.

Two-Team Tiebreaker:
1. Better record in head-to-head games
2. Division winner (this criterion is applied regardless of whether the tied teams are in the same division)
3. Higher winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)
4. Higher winning percentage in conference games
5. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference
6. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in opposite conference
7. Higher point differential between points scored and points allowed
Three-Team Tiebreaker:
1. Division winner (this criterion is applied regardless of whether the tied teams are in the same division)
2. Best head-to-head winning percentage among all teams tied
3. Highest winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)
4. Highest winning percentage in conference games
5. Highest winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference
6. Highest point differential between points scored and points allowed

I haven't looked at season series or head to heads but the sim has Atlanta over Miami now even though they are tied. I assume that if Atlanta wins their last game that they will be in. But I also don't know if I trust the sim when it comes to tiebreakers. Especially if there is a three way tie. I have no idea how the sim would handle that. But if the numbers you gave are correct, then Toronto would have clinched the seven seed tonight assuming the sim gets tiebreakers correct.
