congrats to the rockets! that is a huge piece for that team. They needed some good fortune because they were struggling a bit but I like some of there young talent. Pairing the top pick with Fox is huge for that franchise.

I think I've gotten pretty lucky in the lottery

Can't remember what I finished with my first year, but I was pretty bad and ended up with 5, so I think I may have dropped a bit

Last year I had the 3rd worst record and jumped to 1

This year I had the 7th worst record and jumped to 3

I'll put it under "evidence the sim rewards trying to win more than trying to tank"

The official spots that jumped up in the lottery were:

#1 pick - 6th spot
#2 pick - 1st spot
#3 pick - 7th spot
#4 pick - 12th spot

if that isn't evidence....

Assuming Cade goes #1, does San Antonio take a guard, or form a twin towers lineup with Wiseman/Mobley?

Its an interesting question though. I think all 3 scenarios are options. Since I was a playoff team the expectations are to expand on that. There are a few options just to make the selection...but depending on the offer we will obviously listen but it would have to be for a superstar player/package. We have the depth. The spurs are in the market for top tier talent.
