Knicks could sign him, play him 5 minutes every other game and he'd finish with more jumpers made than Noel & Mitch & Taj.

K-DOT wrote:Boogie's very boom or bust

I think people really haven't watched him this year, cause he's taking 55% of his shots from 3. Which is something we don't have from the C spot, but that's kinda emblematic of how much he's fallen off, that his game is completely opposite of what it used to be. And we talk about Drummond finishing poorly, Cousins is only shooting 48% within 3 feet of the rim

People just gotta be realistic about what we'd be getting from him

The positives are, he's a floor spacing big who's still a good rebounder and a pretty good playmaker

The negatives are, he really hasn't been doing much outside of shooting, and his shot is rather inconsistent (hence why he's boom or bust from game to game). He's also always been a poor defender, and the injuries haven't helped with that. It's not the worst idea to get him (like how someone mentioned 41 year old Pau Gasol who hasn't played in 2 years lol), but I'd rather we get someone who's more consistent and better on defense.

Realistically, we're talking about someone to play 8-15 mins if both Taj and Noel get in foul trouble.

Boogie probably won't hurt you that much in that time, but I'm not sure how much he's helping you either.

There are fresher legs around the league to try out in that role.

What is Kenny Whoot!en up to?

I asked the same last night.

He's on Houston's G League team, but I'm not sure if he's on a two-way or not.

he was but they waived him in december to free up that space

they won't grab him anyway. they'll want a vet who knows his role and has some experience. they have enough young guys to teach.

How long was Mitch just out for? We didn't fall off without him last time so...no need to do anything crazy. Pick up a but low body if you want. Don't really care for any of the names mentioned anyway.

Bring in Meyers Leonard, it'll be the first time a player gets jumped by fans since Keith Closs got washed

With Drummond going to the Lakers, LMA to Nets and Dieng to SAS, what are our options?

Best options: Dedmon, Vonleh, Shittu and OQuinn?

Other players who can get waived/bought out anytime: Damion Jones, Henson, Pelle, Ed Davis, Silva. I think its harder to Whiteside and Tristan Thompson to get waived.

Meyers Leonard: I don't think he will get him. He is too burned. There are many Jews in NYC.

Noah: New York is not good to him.

Skal: He was the third Center in a no-playoff G league team.

Thon Maker: He is a major bust.

Jordan Bell: Undersesid and not skilled.

Cousins: He is too washed to play any defense.

Marquese Chriss: He is injured.

Paul Gasol: He is over 40. Why not get Ewing, so?

that's your reasoning? you don't personally have an issue with putting a racist in our locker room?

Congrats to the Knicks players who will get around 1 mil each in bonuses thanks to Leon Rose and Brock Aller's ineptitude and inability to utilize cap space.
Could be worse. Could be giving 5 mil to a guy like Obi Toppin.

We got lucky that Nerlens and Taj were able to stay relatively healthy. We don't want to have to start putting Randle or Toppin at the 5 if either of them miss any time
