LOL I would rather the Knicks pay Drummond 6 million (pro-rated) for this season. But like all players, they want a chance to win a ring.

Feels like KOQ is much better than any other on your list. He is 31 and not any big injury so he shouldn't be done yet

We already are paying Noah, might as well get some worth out of him.

Paul Reed (ex Depaul) seems to be tearing up the G league. Does he have a deal or could we get him?

Forget it. He was on a two-way deal and now the Sixers just made it a standard NBA contract.

I saw him on the court the other night and, yeah, he looked good.

Best options: Dedmon, Vonleh, Shittu and OQuinn?

Other players who can get waived/bought out anytime: Damion Jones, Henson, Pelle, Ed Davis, Silva. I think its harder to Whiteside and Tristan Thompson to get waived.

Meyers Leonard: I don't think he will get him. He is too burned. There are many Jews in NYC.

Noah: New York is not good to him.

Skal: He was the third Center in a no-playoff G league team.

Thon Maker: He is a major bust.

Jordan Bell: Undersesid and not skilled.

Cousins: He is too washed to play any defense.

Marquese Chriss: He is injured.

Paul Gasol: He is over 40. Why not get Ewing, so?

that's your reasoning? you don't personally have an issue with putting a racist in our locker room?

I dont know if he is really a racist. He may be a stupid kid who wants to be "funny" and popular with his stupid crowd who can view him "bold and audacious" for saying forbidden things and challenge authority and social rules.

I agree he deserves some punishment. And I am way outside the American and Jewish culture to properly measure the gravity of his transgression. But the punishment must be proportional. It's a word said in a fun environment where everybody is kidding. I am against the "cancel culture" (if he is not a proven racist).

Personally, I think it's too soon to be forgiven. And many NYC jews might get offended by the signing. It might be a PR nightmare. But I would not judge anyone about think differently and think he was already properly punished.

we do know he really is a racist because he thinks it's funny to use that word, and values the "comedy" of it more than the hurt it causes an entire ethnicity. he wasn't being spied on in his house. he was live streaming to the world. his internal scale didn't tip the right way. he is a racist. if nobody wants a racist on their team, that isn't cancel culture. its the reality of being an unlikable bigot.

The Post also has learned the Knicks have had internal talks about their former center, Kyle O’Quinn, a Queens native. O’Quinn played sparingly for the 76ers last season, but got passed over in free agency in November. O’Quinn signed up with a team in Turkey, Fenerbahce, in January and has made 21 of 26 shots in seven games.

Knicks went from wanting KOQ to needing KOQ!!!!!!!!!!!

Not a bad option all things considered. I know how much you love KOQ

Berman said we were getting Drummond, Kyle O Quinn, dieng, Oladipo. Our front office has zero leaks but berman claims to know what’s going on in there. Lmfao

I maintain... if Horford is bought out it's because he's coming here. We're the only team that could offer him a midseason multi year deal where he could justify taking less from the Thunder. We just scratched their backs by taking those BS contracts back.

Do us a solid and eat the Horford deal OKC. You will have no other options.

He may not be a world beater on defense but he can provide solid minutes at the 5 spot. You give him a shot and if it doesn’t work out, you cut him. No harm in that.

Is he really even going to provide much in the way of a post presence though?

He might want to keep playing as more of a Stretch 5 offensively and minimize camping in the paint on defense

Anyway, if he's a vet minimum you can roll the dice and see. I'm not aware of his current contractual situation though

I honestly feel like he would look no further than to Randle and want to take on the Thibs challenge of becoming the best player he can be. He's in the best shape hes ever been in or at least was not too long ago.

I'd defintely reach out. I see him putting in the work and Randle keeping him not only in check but making him WANT to buy in to what we have going on in NY

Can Adam Silver just cut the league down to just 8 teams and have disgruntled stars flock back and forth to whatever team they believe will give them an easy chance at a ring? How much more ridiculously stupid can the NBA be in its present day?

Welp, the Knicks pared their roster down by two spots for some kind of reason, with some kind of moves in mind.

Obviously, the trade deadline is over, so it's players kicking around already or about to be released.

Who is everyone's guess for the pick ups?

I'll really go out on a limb and say it's a C and a PF.

I would prefer it go to someone like what OKC did with Moses Brown. Give some young guys a shot and see if they can impress the coaching staff to stick long term.

It will probably be over the hill vets though.

I would probably take Kyle o Quinn. He can rebound, sets efficient screens, can hit the mid range, positive attitude guy that won’t care how many minutes he gets.

Can probably even spot him some minutes at the 4 if need be.

I guess cousins is okay too

when he was here the first time, i said it would be good to trade lopez for noah's expiring because KOQ's passing ability could develop (this was not same thing as suggesting we sign him in free agency btw)

anyway, now we have tom thibodeau coaching our team. could be interesting to see how he would use him, but from what i'm hearing he's washed
