How did we not get Evan Fournier for 2 second rounders?

Can we call out all of the people with the fake rumors? Who are the worst? Berman? Macri? Scoop B?

Because he's an unrestricted free agent this summer and we aren't contenders. Why give up any asset for a rental? Contenders give up assets for rentals, not fringe playoff teams.

Don't know what is worse hearing Knicks fans complain about this deadline or watching ESPN beat a dead horse with the Dolan and MSG stories.

Best move: We didn't trade the house for a rental.

Worst move: ELFRID FKN PAYTON IS STILL HERE.

Does Fournier move the needle on this team? Think about it...

I like the minor move for the picks and player to be released. I would rather spend the capital we have on moving up in the draft. I dont mind signing someone to help if they are a FA but I think we are better off staying the course and improving from within and the draft

It sounds like we were pretty active in discussions, but didn't do anything because the asking price was too high

Which for where we are is a good thing. Kinda confirms my opinion of Rose, that he's gonna be opportunistic about this.
BaF Lakers:

Darius Garland/Cory Joseph
Klay Thompson/Shaedon Sharpe
Keldon Johnson/De'Andre Hunter
Evan Mobley/Tari Eason
Nic Claxton/Draymond Green

Bench: Leonard Miller, Jett Howard, Markquis Nowell, Kennedy Chandler, Day'Ron Sharpe

It was essentially a vote of no confidence in this team by the front office, not sure what the implications are for that

We are talking about 2 second rounders for a fringe playoff team. How much is that worth? What are the chances those 2 second rounders end up better than Evan Fournier?

Not mad we didn’t overpay. Just don’t see any possible solution to improve in the off-season since there are no FA’s.

At least we can be fairly confident this FO isn't making stupid lolknicks type trades that Espn loves to link the Knicks to.
