Jokic has elevated to mvp calibre player, Murray has shown he can elevate for playoffs and most importantly, they have many scorers and options now. Indeed, on paper, Portland should be the worst match-up for the currently constructed Nuggets, but the team and individual class is so much in their favour that I wouldn't be surprised if they sweep them.

Blazers are dinosaurs. Dame is a dinosaur apart from the logos 3s, CJ is a dinosaur, Carmelo is a dinosaur, the coach and the team style are dinosaur-ish. People are questioning whether you can win a championship with one player with such style, they have one player that is different(Nurkic and he is injured all the time). This team is not winning anything but they seem to have fun. I don't mind, Melo will enter top 10 scorers of all time, he's found the perfect place to do it.

The Nuggets won the regular season series 3-1 against the Blazers the same season they eventually lost in 7 to them. The Nuggets still aren't a good defensive team even with Gordon, and a team with a good PG should be able to carve them up. You can call Dame and Cp3 dinosaurs, but they're going to have the ball in their hands majority of possessions with the goal of getting Jokic to defend in space (and Porter), that's one of the reasons why Mitchell was able to score so much against them. The Nuggets have been 23rd defensively since the ASB, and Gordon doesn't address any concerns about PG/SG defense.

And you have Kanter slowing down Jokic?

Let's wager e-cred if they match-up no questions asked?

Who keeps Gordon from cutting to the basket also?

And you have little ass Norman Powell guarding Porter Jr?

So here's Portland's front office logic...

We start an undersized SG.. now let's trade for another undersized player who we're going to play at the 3 or as the 3rd guard.

CJ and Dame are both average play makers at best and average at best defenders.

Like WTF are they going to do next get a wing to play the 4 and another wing to play the 5? lol...

Admit the obvious.. the Blazers have positional issues. They didn't want to do personnel damage control and trade CJ when it was clear as day him and Dame are redundant. And I could give two flying fuqs what their regular season record is or how they beat Denver TWO years ago. This ain't TWO years ago.

Blazers have 3/5 and I usually love CJ McCollum as a player. Yo, Melo doesn't make the cut either.

PG, SF, C are really good, but that's not enough.

The lack of respect towards Donovan Mitchell is even greater than the one towards Jokic. It all started with the ROY award and it's still present today. And if you think about it, he's beaten Russel Westbrook in classical duel with worse team, he was also part of the greatest first round series in the bubble with Murray. So he has in his resume proof that he can carry you to the playoff and actually win there. And he's been doing that with a **** team compared to the competition in the conference.

And still no respect for him :( Even here more people would take Booker over him. The same guy that had even better tank commanding skills than Kyrie when they got no CP3 or LeBron to carry their ass.
