Randle took on the job of bringing the Knicks back to relevance so he gets all the glory he can handle. That's the deal. He rolled the dice on himself and he won and we did too.

He's busy nursing his 'thigh contusion.'

Why doesn't anyone call him injury-prone?

Got that right. Can you imagine how they'd be clowning on the Knicks if they got Durant and he ended up missing half the season? KD would forever be known as 'damaged goods' and we'd never hear the end of it.

Speaking of clowning - I was driving home tonight and decided to check in on the Ghost of Steve Somers on the FAN, and he had Berman on as a guest talking Knicks. I'll tell ya, for all his trolling he actually sounded happy that the Knicks are a good team again. Go figure.

Is it realistic to expect him to win MIP?

heard a stat quoted by (I think it was Kellerman lol) that if the game season finished yesterday, Randle would have the best plus minus of all power forwards. If that's true, wow

Randle is carrying the Knicks! Has KD ever carried a team by himself?

Randle's footwork synergizes with Melo's face-up moves. That is one thing special about Randle since having that size and type of footwork is not normal. It allows him to play below the rim and will prolong his career. Zion should go to Melo school of face-up as well since jumping over people will only last so long.

Need RJ to get some work with Melo too. If RJ can develop a post game, improve his footwork and shoot off the dribble he is going to be unstoppable

Return to New York Knicks
